TODAY I HAVE A LOOK AT RUNCAMS NEW SPLIT MINI
Runcam is always active in the development department and here's the latest offering. Finally a FPV/HD camera to go on smaller machines down to 2inch props.

Thanks for the honest report about the fpv feed noise problem. I thought I was the only one with that problem and was getting agitated.

Hi rich if you power it from the usb plug the lines may go I had the same issue with the split 2 an powering it from the USB port solved it completely

Nice review Richard!!! I'm looking to get one of this for a wicked mini drone . Under 250g . To allow the rules and flight wherever I wanna flight . The only negative point is the sound . But ... don't care. Just put some music on the background. Thanks!!!! And regards!!

Nicely done mate, shame about the lines in the feed. Hopefully they'll nail that in the next version.

Oh my god they should do an even smaller version of this maybe with only one board and a smaller camera itself

for the diagonal lines: did you use 5volts here? it was a known issue on the split 2 at least. when powered with lower volts it was noisy - if 12v or more - it looks better. someone explained that the 5v regulator on the split simply isnt clean... good review, greets, Mario

I have many of these, the power reg fails and they reset in the air like crazy (turns off, so dangerous). Lost a lot of gear, do not use as FPV cam unless you cap and BEC.
