Hey guys, So I got my hands on the new Runcam Split FPV/HD camera and I wanted to upload just the raw video from the board. I will also add a link below so you can see it without the compression from youtube. If you have anyquestions feel free to ask and I will answer them in the full review video.

Interesting that the single mic puts out a higher volume to the right channel in the raw video file. I definitely hear a difference Right over Left.

+NoAgenda Drones I believe that was the case with the Runcam 3 as well. I had noticed it in various videos.

Looks really good, a genuine game changer. Think we'll all be softmounting our FPV cameras if using these though.

Oscar lang tested it and the latency was 51ms so kabab was right

Picture looks real nice. How do you start and stop the HD recording on the quad? Does it start when you plug the quad in and stop when you unplug the quad? Thanks

When it is on a quad and flying around, does it still have the distorted fisheye? Would you recommend a narrower fov?

I am looking forward to seeing ACTUAL flight footage with this installed in a Quad... I happen to think any vibration is going to be a big issue

I can't seem to figure out how to get the videos off the runcam split. I connected a USB wire from my computer but it didn't recognize it. any ideas?

I just broke my yi in another crash, sick of running an action camera on my quad. too heavy and fragile and it makes it look ugly. I'd happily sacrifice some picture quality for the huge weight reduction :D Great job runcam!

I expect Jello will be an issue with the recording unless the camera is somehow mounted with soft mounts of some sort, but the Lag is what worries me. If it's good then possibly an awesome addition to any race quad

BMSWEB or just put an 1177 for FPV next to it on your quad... still less weight compared with an other HD cam...

+Erwin L Hadn't thought about this idea, but it would be alot easier to mount the Split camera on the top/front of a quad too vs GoPro/RC3. Good Idea.
