Do you ever plan on using hex hardware on the savage models? I mean I would even buy it as an upgrade pack. Also nice video, good that your supporting your models and the RC community.

Is the the savage the using in the video a savage xl or the regular one?

Just got this truck, its seems awesome so far.. EXCEPT... why does HPI use Philips head screws? Philips is so much easier to strip compared to hex head machine type hardware especially with a power driver. Awesome vid btw.

Tip 1: Powertool Tip 2: Always loosen and tighten crossdiagonal / evenly Tip 3: ALWAYS shim your diffs

I didn't learn much when it comes to what type of grease to use instead and outside AND if it's best to use silicone oil inside the diff as an upgrade. I've been really lucky over the years that I've never blown a diff up yet. But then again I've never done any stupid jumps with it.

Thats why you use a 3.6v no name drill with less torque then a axial 27t.

Is there a video for upgrading the savage 21 to a 3 speed/Reverse gearbox?

I seem to have power on the front and back drive shafts but no power from rear diff. Rear wheels do turn but not under load. Do I need to check diff by dismantling, what am I looking for ? Wouldn't mind but its only done 90mins driving with no jumps or excessive speeds. Any help appreciated.

You can find all current HPI Racing dealers that have given details listed on the shop search section of the website: www.hpiracing.com/en/shops It mainly covers our Domestic areas but some distributors have also provided details of retailers. The regional main Distributor/Importers details are listed here: www.hpiracing.com/distributors

could be that the diff oil is not thick enough or that you are leaking oil causing it to be too easy for the diff to turn.
