Follow up from previous video.
Checking for fuel leaks and resealing engine up due to not being used for 2 years.
Car is a HPI RS4 evo+ with a T-15 nitro engine.
A quick run through on how to carry out the repair

Dirty Dirty Nitro..... I love running them, and the sound.... I just don't like getting my hands dirty 😅. Oh.. 'Rhetta' is a Bot... ignore her, she'll go away

Those Hpi engines are not bad my cousin few of those that a neighbor give him to fix. Like basic stuff like servos and what not but the engines started and ran good. With very little adjustments.

They're good quality engines. If looked after they just keep going and going.👍🏻

Nice! Is the pin removable that’s connecting the drive shaft to the bottom piston? Looks like it broke on mine and won’t engage on the starter shaft. You just showed a spring but I couldn’t see well

Hi - nice video and helpful for an rs4 that I have just picked up and am looking to fix up. What is the stuff that you were using as a sealant? I tried to spot the name but couldn't see it. Cheers Steve

How it going bro. What did you put on the carburetor before putting it back. My engine seems like its leaking

Hi. I believe I put some liquid gasket or you could you RTV sealant which will seal it up good.

mine looks like it's leaking near the front where the clutch is. is it possible that its leaking through the bearing

Hello, I have Gv v2000 2 speed thunder tiger, pritty much the same engine as yours. I was wondering if parts a still available for these types of vehicles?

Hi. Yes you still can find parts for these engines. Modelsport RC or eBay is where I get my parts. If not buy a newer more powerful engine as an upgrade.

Got one of these at a yard sell off angry ex girlfriend sold all this guys rc stuff a big bag full like 5 control’s one nitro hpi some bodies and 2 carbon fiber electric cars. Plus 3 6 channel nitro helis 50 60 and 90
