“The NT has mistakes” …G-d doesn’t make mistakes, therefore the “N.T” doesn’t come from G-d, it’s very simple.
@marktravis5162
@marktravis5162 3 ай бұрын
Lol the scriptures themselves have mistakes written throughout them, so based on your logic because of that, they too can’t come from God. That’s why that’s not a good argument to make, but it is true that God doesn’t make mistakes and if he would have wrote the books of the Bible himself there wouldn’t be any, but man wrote it and because of that we have different errors, but the good news is regardless we can see the truth within them

@marktravis5162
@marktravis5162 3 ай бұрын
@@avrahamisaacs2593 There’s actually multiple errors throughout that’s even acknowledged by Jewish scholars, mistakes made by scribes from the past. Therefore you have one book mention a specific number and another a different one, and like different kings giving different years of when they reigned, chronicles will give you one number and kings another one. Now obviously they’re not errors that take away from the truth and can easily be overlooked but the point is that it’s ignorant to say that there’s no errors or mistakes written in it. You got multiple scribes and copies of scripture being written over periods of years, so that happening is understandable and makes sense. Scholars know the majority is just a copiest error. That being said no one should see any of those as a way to not trust the rest of the text, because it’s not that big of a deal 👍

@@marktravis5162 I was hoping you replied back to me because I knew that one of the things (if you were doing your homework) was the issue with the counts between kings and Chronicles. Though my understanding of this issue between them is deficient I do know of rabbis that have a rational explanation for the seemingly scholarly error. If I find the rabbinical source I’ll make sure to post it as it will bring clarification to myself as well and will be able to use it when someone else like yourself comes with the same response. However, when I heard it from this rabbi it made sense as to why they were different counts but it didn’t stick to my memory.

The great Hebrew prophet Isaiah lived 700 years earlier. So how dare one quote him to justify a belated replacement religion? Without the Torah, Tanakh, the other two major religions would not have any source.
@moose31313
@moose31313 3 ай бұрын
What if another religion came from the same God, so why would the same God come with different laws and different prophets. Prophet Abraham and the prophets before him were not Jewish or Christian. They were muslims. Muslim means one who submits to the will of God. Islam is a universal religion to all humanity, while Judaism is only for the Jews. Judaism comes from the name Judah, one of the Sons of prophet Yaqub Peace, and blessings be upon him. So Islam is not a copy it just comes from the same God. It's a confirmation of the previous revelations that were distorted through time. God does not change his laws you cant pick and choose which laws you like and which you dislike. All are from God, and there is no old and new law. God does not change his laws. God said, "dont eat pork his not going to later say it's ok to eat it. These are pauls words, not God, and it's a grave sin to think that Pauls agnorant words are Gods words.

Christianity lacks common sense! The One True Creator G_d who created all of the Cosmos and everything in it doesn't need any middleman to forgive anyone of their sins! The One True Creator G_d has said this from the very beginning! Bereshit (Genesis) 4: 3Now it came to pass at the end of days, that Cain brought of the fruit of the soil an offering to the Lord. 4And Abel he too brought of the firstborn of his flocks and of their fattest, and the Lord turned to Abel and to his offering. 5But to Cain and to his offering He did not turn, and it annoyed Cain exceedingly, and his countenance fell. 6And the Lord said to Cain, "Why are you annoyed, and why has your countenance fallen? ווַיֹּ֥אמֶר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־קָ֑יִן לָ֚מָּה חָ֣רָה לָ֔ךְ וְלָ֖מָּה נָֽפְל֥וּ פָנֶֽיךָ: 7Is it not so that if you improve, it will be forgiven you? If you do not improve, however, at the entrance, sin is lying, and to you is its longing, but you can rule over it." No so-called "Jesus " is ever needed!!! Never has been!!! Never will be!!! The One True Creator G_d forbids 🚫 human sacrifice! It is an abomination!!! The One True Creator G_d specifically said in no uncertain terms that NO One can die for the sins of another! You and you alone are responsible for your own actions! Yechezkel (Ezekiel) 18: 20The soul that sins, it shall die; a son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, and a father shall not bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. 21 And if the wicked man repent of all his sins that he has committed and keeps all My laws and executes justice and righteousness, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 22All his transgressions that he has committed shall not be remembered regarding him: through his righteousness that he has done he shall live. 23Do I desire the death of the wicked? says the Lord God. Still No so-called "Jesus " is ever needed!!! Never has been!!! Never will be!!! The One True Creator G_d forbids 🚫 Adultery!!! But Christians want people to believe that G_d got another man's wife pregnant just like Zeus used to run around doing. Christianity is a lie! Christianity adopted way too many idolatrous and pagan beliefs contrary to what The One True Creator G_d actually said. We follow the instructions of the One True Creator G_d!!! Not the lies of Christianity.

@WrathofGod144 How interesting that two accounts were created today, each posting comments referencing Christian idolatrous claims regarding blessings received by the worship of a god-man. The classic issue with Christian trolls posting this type of silliness is they have made specific assumptions. They believe that the Christian texts are univocal with the Tanakh. They also believe that the Christian texts are the inerrant word of their three-in-one god. These trolls firmly believe that everything in the Jewish Scriptures and in their own Christian writing points to one thing only - that Jesus is the only possible way for a human being to obtain salvation. So, Angel and Wrath operate under specific presuppositions. First, for any of the authors of any text in the Tanakh or the Christian texts, the Christian 3-in-1 deity planted that idea in the head of the author - this is the presupposition of inspiration. Secondly, there is no error anywhere in the Tanakh or the Christian texts. There are no contradictions or errors, no manner in which the text of the Tanakh disagrees or conflicts with their Christian writing - this is the presupposition of inerrancy. This is a rhetorical technique they are using. It operates on the basis that the Tanakh and Christian texts have this single rhetorical purpose related to Jesus. This is a dogma and not supported by any facts. They use this dogma to impose a unifying framework on the Tanakh and the Christian texts. They then assume that no text in the Tanakh can disagree with or contradict any text in the Christian writings. In any argument about whether or not the Tanakh disagrees with the Christian writings, their view is that this is impossible because of the univocal nature of the texts and the inerrancy of the texts. Simply put, they operate under the supposition that the purpose of every text in the Tanakh and Christian texts points to Jesus as the salvation of the world. Ergo, all those texts were inspired by the Christian deity to point to that supposition of salvation only through Jesus. Finally, because of points one and two, there can't be any contradictions, errors, or disagreements between the Tanakh and Christian writings. But this is a bad-faith argument. They have included their conclusion in their premise. This is a form of logical fallacy called begging the question. We see it used here by wrathful deception. Nothing that actually ties the quotations from Psalms or Proverbs to the claims made in the Christian text. No effort is made to make any logic-based argument to tie them together. It is just an exercise in Christian heresy designed to deceive and seduce people to idolatry.

Zechariah 14 New International Version The Lord Comes and Reigns 14 A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls. 2 I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake[a] in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him

I'm puzzled by the mention of contradictions in the New Testament. If this is a valid argument, wouldn't that mean that contradictions in the Tanakh falsify Judaism? Conversely, if contradictions in the OT (such as the differences between Gen 1 & Gen 2) can be explained by the fact that different authors had different purposes for writing at different times, couldn't that be true of the NT authors, as well?

There is a wonderful science written into the Holy Bible. We are entering the space-age...and the electromagnetic age, all at the same time, but, it seems, someone else has got there before us...and told us about it. The key point is the indestructible massless energy that frequents stars and atoms. We, as a conglomerate of living cells are also subject to those laws. Some people prefer the wild version of those universal laws but the wise prefer the righteous version as taught by Almighty God, whether through Moses and the prophets, or Jesus Christ, alone, and totally unaided..

@@hrvatskinoahid1048 so why do Israelites disagree with us? And Evidence to demonstrate the antiquity of much of Torah yet showing how Moses couldn’t have been the only author of the Torah, as proven by a number of rabbinic sources, and the consequences of such a belief. When it comes to the authorship of the world’s greatest best-seller, the Bible, two extreme stances were taken. The Bible Critic is adamant that the Torah (i.e., the Pentateuch or Five Books of Moses) was written in several different stages throughout the Monarchy of the First Temple era and added upon in the Babylonian exile and afterwards. On the other extreme stands the theologically Orthodox Jew or Christian adamant that Moses wrote every word in the Torah and that God dictated to Moses exactly what to write. I agree, God doesn't change. However, Rabbi continues, "I don't care what Jews think, I don't care what Jews believe, I want what's in the Jewish Bible. He fails to say there were many translations of Hebrew scripture before the Hebrew Bible was official. Dead Sea Scrolls prove it. The official Hebrew Bible was completed after Jesus's death. To debate Jesus's authenticity., one has to go back to the Hebrew Scriptures before the official, voted upon Hebrew Bible existed. Then, the debate cannot bring in Christianity and the Roman Church. It was the division of the Pharasees that branched off and continued the belief in Jesus. Not the Christians. Christians weren't even named yet until years, and years later.

Please don't be offended, and if you are, I'm sorry, it is not my intent. This is only my opinion and I have no ill feelings towards anyone. Jesus is the most influential Jewish person that ever lived and the first "church" was all Jewish. The word Christianity is nowhere in the bible. Christianity was formed by the Jewish people. Many are fixated on Paul's anger. Are you aware that Paul wanted to find and confront Jesus about all the Jewish followers that were turning to him? And on his mission, Paul was arresting Jesus's followers and threatening execution? Paul was one of the high Pharasee of his time before he followed Jesus. So, there is the division, and it depends which group of Pharasees you want to follow. The Septuagint was written because it was the most spoken and common language at the time. The Lord wanted the truth to spread atound the world. IF the writings stayed only in the Hebrew language would any of the writings be widely shared? Even the Torah- to non Hebrew speaking people?I think that suggests that modern day leaders would have complete control of translation. - As do the leaders in "Christian" communities today. I do not what answers that will use examples of today's world to explain versus of the Bible. Thats where manipulation can hide. I want to know how the ancient Jewish person thought and learn how he saw his world, and learn from his experience. That is where wisdom is. If you give me examples of bad behaviors that a Christian or a Jewish person is doing today, I'm sure we'll both agree, its a bad behavior. All languages have evolved! And editing is apparent its used to better articulate the meaning for today's people. Ancient texts hold the answers. The Dead Sea Scrolls prove there were multiple versions of Hebrew scriptures before the destruction of the 2nd Temple. And the death of Jesus didnt influence the writers - at all? What is Kapparot ceremony? A tradition followed by some or all Jewish people? Is it included in the Law? No. Do all the different sects of Judaism follow the same traditions? There still is division amongst the Jewish traditions. As there are in Christian religions, some believe in the Rapture, some don't. Some believe the earth is flat, many don't. Why do some Jewish people approach the Sabbath differently? For example, the 18 mile wire around NYC? Some agree, some don't. I do not judge, i am a mere human being. I just want truth. Gizlut da’at (גזלוּת דעת), now find that in the ancient Hebrew writings

Christians are awesome and have produced some really good stuff in society but when you start listening to the fundamental views they have it's so crazy. Why would God not reveal his plan immediately? Why would he make it confusing, why all the fog? Meanwhile in the Tanakh God is pretty friggin clear in everything. Perhaps the Gnostic God the christians worship is kinder better from a myth perspective but it's clearly not Judaic. There is no way that even the Jews who followed teh way of Jesus believed in all this other gnostic stuff.

There is no contradiction between the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and John and the Tanakh, if you see any, say where. Luke is Greek and a disciple of Paul/Saul before being a disciple of Christ. I do not take his Gospel into account, I consider it to be falsified. Christianity is the Tanakh plus the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and John. That's all as far as I'm concerned. If, in contradiction with the Torah, you take into consideration what Jesus Christ said about "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" etc... it is not a contradiction but a welcome development (unless you consider that revenge belongs to you and not to God when it suits you, a question we can ask ourselves at the moment for Israel). If you take into consideration the fact that Jesus Christ heals people on Shabbat, we should no longer send people to the hospital on that day, is it what you do? Tell how the Christianity of the Gospels that I have cited would be contrary to the Torah or the Tanakh in one way or another!

Jesus Christ chose Peter as Head of the earthly Church. Not Paul/Saul or anyone else. The Gospels of Matthew (original Apostle, although having been chosen after the others), that of Mark, scribe of Peter and of whom Peter says that he is his son, and the Gospel of John (original Apostle), are the true voice of Christianity. Everything else you can read but it would not be a good idea to take it into account. God and His Messiah did not choose Paul/Saul, re-read John 17, while Christ is speaking in John 17, Paul/Saul is throwing stones at Christ's disciples (that's a way of speaking), but the Catholic Church and all branches of official Christianity only have Paul/Saul on their lips all the time, there is a problem somewhere! True Christianity is not what you see, it is what you read in Matthew, Mark and John. There is no branch of Christianity that is consistent with the Word today. The religion of Christ, if we must give Him one, is original Judaism, it is the Mosaic Law.
