That motor looks brand new why would there be no grease on the rollers?

I got a question. I just removed my primary clutch and it all looks ok....I did notice something after pulling off the back side of primary with fan fins on it off. I noticed it looks like that back section has been rubbing against the inner casting of the wet clutch? Any suggestions with this?

What was the symptom of the ungreased Rollers? Like someone else said, the motor looks brand new. Now I'm worried my brand new ut400 has ungreased Rollers from the factory. I did notice most of my zerk fittings were ungreased. I have a intermittent symptom of what seems like a slipping belt. I shift to forward and begin moving forward for a second or two when there is a clunk and movement stops. It seems to catch up and movement continues. This dude is a month old and I have been following break in procedures.

Why do so many insist on calling these variable pitch pulleys (sheaves) "clutches"? They are not and it doesn't matter who calls then such, or how many times they are called such--they will not become "clutches". Actually the drive pulley is a "variator" and the driven a "torque multiplier". The clutch is on the crankshaft inside the clutch bell which is an integral component of the variator shaft.
