Honkai Star Rail : E0S0 Firefly with F2P / 4 star only support showcase.
in both Memory of chaos 12 and Apocalyptic Shadow 4!
Despite Having no 5 star support, I would say she's pretty good to play with. It would be significantly harder to optimize, So I still recommend you pulling Ruan Mei regardless. But if Luck, Money and God all turn their back to you and you only have Firefly without Ruan Mei, This is the video for you!

@@zerayoutube half-half. I would gladly watch and learn the idea. As for if the clear is 100% legit for the community or not, that's completely different story. I would always judge by the relic they used tbh. One that reachable is ok. One that unreachable is... well I don't recommend anyone to go to PS btw. But if you want to try, do it at your own risk.

Yall have to keep in mind how heavy of a shill this moc is lmao. It gives 30 be per trotter killed and 15% atk and killing a trotter gives a whole action adv? So essentially her e2. Ruan mei really should be a priority if you got ff.

Yep, she will perform worse if there's no trotter in here. I'd still recommend ruan mei if you actually want to play her. But if god and luck all turn your back to you, and you have no jade left, then you can come back and watch this!

@@DONT-MIND-MY-PROFILE-PICTURE most of the time, prioritised selling. This MOC favored by FF and Acheron, but FF benefits it more, since puppets in second side is pretty easy to break, with trotter giving you additional action.

Very nice! I love watching showcases like this when, some content creators say you absolutely need a certain character for another character to function. Don't worry if you have Firefly and no Ruan Mei, yes Asta is weaker but still more than enough to clear any content.

Thank you for your video. Im still new to the game (3 weeks into HSR actually). I don’t understand the difference between normal break and then double break that you managed to pull off so beautifully in your video. Does proc-ing double break help increase firefly break dmg more than single break? 🙏

Procing double break helps your dps up by quite a lot. Normally you would deal break damage (which don't proc a superbreak) then next turn you proc a superbreak. By compress this to one action, you actually get 200k more damage within 1 break period, pr if you play ruanmei - you can one shot anything below 600k hp really easily!

when firefly's banner arrived, someone asked me on discord "does firefly is still good without ruan mei? 'cuz i don't have her in my account". my answer was "well, ruan mei is in a peak meta rn and you've already know the damage gap. you can still use her with asta, don't forget hmc. i can't make the video to proof it 'cuz i didn't build asta but i'm sure that firefly will works well with her". your video has proofed my theory and i amazed that you can clear moc 12 with 2 turns on the first half and 1 turn on the second half. well done!!! 😄

16:47 Wouldn't it be more beneficial to use Gallagher's ult after HMC? HMC is only 1AV after Gallagher, and such order would result in 5 SP on Asta's turn instead of 4.

I kinda prefer Gui since i have to move Ruan Mei for other team, she like Pela but for heavy fire content 😊. Did a comfortable 2 cycle run in second moc12 half too so im happy.

Pela would be better than asta if you play boothill, and boothill will deal more than firefly in equal situation.

4:32 it's because Argenti would not be able to buff one of his towers? He could buff the one that gives dmg boost or the one that deals damage, defeating one of those with the buff would give more damage buff for the team or deal more damage to Argenti

Not really, even if he not buffing tower it's still ok. It is his tower and his movement related here. I'll give the answer on next reply but you can guess 1 more time!

Even though I have Ruan mei, I've been using Firefly without her because I can still easily clear everything. Maybe once the moc buff goes away I'll have to use RM, but for now she is fun with just Asta.

Personally i use multiplication, but i find i can get gallager past 150 break effect with mc so its probably more optimal but it depends on how willing u are to grind another light cone

If you can end in 1 combustion state then qpq is not needed. However if you need second combustion state. The different between get FF ult back in 1 skill vs 2 skill is instantly 1 cycle diff, no matter how hard ff or gallagher hit.

Pela variant scale better with your gear quality. lower floor higher ceiling. if your pela is super well built (160 wind or 170+) then yes

I need some advice. I only have 1 Memory of the Past S5, Dance dance dance S1 and Meshing Cogs. So which one do you think is better for HMC and Ruan Mei. I'm currently using M.o.t.P for HMC and Meshing cogs for Mei. As I know Mei's traces increases team break by a fixed amount of 20%, so does it means that Mei in Firefly team dont have to build break and her dmg bonus buff doesnt affect the break dmg. Instead, HMC's traces increase team break% by his own break%. Tks for helping!

Run the cogs on ruan mei and motp on harmony mc Ruan mei do need break effect too because of her trace that gives a buff that scales on her break effect (i forgot what it gives) But harmony mc needs the break effect more than her

DDD mei is fine but mind that her Ult downtime will be super long. so I don't recommend it. and yes - in HMC team you shoudl focus on HMC gear quality first. ruan mei can use leftover gear - she'll get enough BE from HMC passive anyway and even if ti's not enough. it does nothing to FF team. Tl:DR : cog on mei motp on hmc. focus gear on hmc, ruanmei use leftover

Not in the slightest. Firefly benefit nothing from tdm%. But if it's your best spd sub piece, then that set is ok especially because it give 5 er for user.

Pela scale better with your firefly's relic ; aka if you can get her speed and BE high enough then pela is better. Otherwise asta is better because asta allows you to gt more turn between each break session.

8:50 wouldn't it have been better to break the left guy? that way you could wait for Asta turn and then BA the middle one so firefly could break everyone in her first turn and in the second do extra damage because of the increased damage that enemies take when all the 3 are broken.

The actual mistake is I should use firefly skill into leftmost guy, then gall basic left guy, ult, basic left guy to break. That way I can close out the fight slightly faster! Great observation tho :D

Honestly, as long as she has HMC, she probably gonna be fine, but Ruan Mei does work so well with Firefly, that Ruan Mei is like a requirement for me.

When enemy has a really low break bar left, and your character deals multiple hit and break the enemy before their attack string ends, the remaining attack toughness value will be converted to superbreak damage - this allow you to deal both break and superbreak damage at once - hence called double break damage!

Well there is technically is still a problem with the damage and breaking time. This MOC favors FF so much you might not see big dif yet

The damage itself is not that bad. But the break time is a real pain. Even with trotter buff, you might notice that I try to either break right after enemy move/within enemy's turn, or I just set up a double break to compensate for break period loss from no ruanmei. In the future after no more trotter buff, firefly without ruanmei will be extremely hard to play, or even unplayable.

@RuriGoko luckily I mostly play her in sim uni so her damage will always be super inflated no matter what. hoyo will release another break buffer and I'll just use them once they come out. meta changes and ruan mei will be dethroned one day. until then I stay on my hater train
