The titans are able to sense the presence of humans, thats why they were draw to the walls even without any human in sight instead of roaming aimessly in the forests, so trying to hide from them is a big no no

@@skylander5884 there was in fact a plan made by the king of the walls, in case of a major titan overtaking of humanity's territory, the humans would retreat to a city built underground, but even that has proven futile, since so many People populated the walls cities that the underground wasnt able to house them properly, let alone the peoples of ⅓ of the territory (population of wall maria) which led to hunger and in-fighting between the survivors with even more deaths

@@readysetgo8770 one scene during uprising arc gives the view of the titan rod reiss, he sees all human lifes as bright points of light in a blank colored world, i think thats how they all see them, thats why i think how they can found hidden ppl. And, there are in fact titans that ignore single targets and go to larger masses of people, those are the abnormals, titans with unpredictable behavior, who go straight to places where a larger quantity of humans reside, and doesnt just chase anyone who cross their lines of sight

5:20 Correction: 60ft is only 18.29m, and the walls are up to 50m high (over 164ft). This means the Colossal Titan is likely OVER 164 FEET tall

it's really nice to hear: hindsight is 20/20 where basically entire video format is using knowledge not available for characters yet in the story, and how their decisions work out, ignoring circumstances, stress and limited time to make those decisions. still enjoy the vids format. but hindsight 20/20 should be the actual name of the channel and videos as it's my reaction to half of the comments on characters actions. You can't imagine how cathartic it was to here you use words going through my head every episode I watch of how to beat series.

There is a lot this video overlooks about both the threats, law and nature of the world in question. Humans know that titans have some sixth sense that helps them track down humans, thus the creation of the thorn wall formation, to create highly concentrated pockets of humans that will draw titans to them, thus the hiding in the city ruins till the titans leave wouldn´t work because the titans closest to the walls would funnel to the city and eventually find you. The king behind the walls kept resenting peoples memories erasing or re-writing the populist's memories thus preventing them from making vast scientific breakthroughs, and the shadow government banning flying vehicles, with two known cases where people were killed because they wanted to leave, this stoped after Grish stole the founder's power from them and gave it to Eren but still, that gave them a hand full of years to push forward where they learned more about the titans Biologie (with the shadow government holding them back) and after the shadow government was dismantled they began making more inventions like the guillotine and thunder spears. These are all factors that seemed to be ignored here. if he plans on covering this in future instalment fine, overall I enjoyed this episode it was funny how many times he said literal hell.

Yes, I was seeing who else was going to say this. There's no way to just "research more" when the Eldian government is actively trying to suppress you. The thunder spears only came about due to secret documents being uncovered. I don't think he really has all the details cause these decisions he suggests are very surface level when you think about it

I want to preface this by saying, I don't watch anime, I'm here because I like logical and critical thinking. That being sad, this comment explains to me why they were not using single action weapons (Revolver rifles, revolvers, ect), flamethrowers, bombs, field guns, and automatic weapons. I was very confused by why there was that one scene with SMOOTH BORE muskets. Like, a Flammenwerfer would be perfect here, but I guess that is explained. I'm a history guy, not anime. So thanks for explaining that :)

7:09 fun fact, her legs weren't actually broken, you can see that when the titan lifted Eren's mom up, she was trying to kick and get out of it's grip but obviously failed. She just said her legs were broken to provide incentive for Mikasa and Eren to give up on her survival

Not watching the video yet, I can say the most valuable skill in AOT has to be spatial awareness. I'm guessing a reason that the Ackermann's are so powerful is because of their incredible spatial awareness, reactions, and critical thinking, though there isn't exactly any way to prove this unless it is stated

Honestly, you shouldn't give the members of the Garrison so much shit. They have had to do pretty much nothing but guard duty and gun maintenance for at least 10 years. And no one has ever seen a titan that's more than 20 meters, so of course no one was going to think they could ever breach the gates. To them, Eren is the delusional one. Also, anyone trying to build a plane would have been arrested by the Military Police and executed silently. Much like the couple that was mentioned, who tried to escape the walls riding a balloon. I think that was season 3, but I'm not 100% sure. I only watched the first 4 minutes, so please excuse me if you did correct any of this later in.

I think building something like a plane will be much more beneficial for the people in the walls, to take a good look at the enemies below them. But sadly, the government is not allowing them to know the secret. Since the Garrison regiment has the largest amount of soldiers, they should be well-trained and prepare for what's going on, especially thinking and have a stable mind, we should not forgive them because they are scared. All the people inside the wall are. But that's their job and they have to do it. I think to blame for all of this is their government.

When Erens mom dies, she actually isn't trapped under the rubbel. As you can see when the titan picks Eren's mom up her foot slips out very easily. The reason for this is because (this is a theory) but his mom didn't want to run along Eren cause that would mean putting him in danger.

If you go by how large the city looks in the anime, yes it is small like you said. But if you go by the canon of AoT, the city is really huge, it's almost as big as the entire state of Texas and I think bigger than California. That is sufficient room to grow food. At that size, we shouldn't be able to see the walls, it would be like seeing high-rises across hundreds of miles, it's like thinking you can see San Francisco when standing in Los Angeles, which is just not how things look at that distance.

well demon slayer would be quite hard topic for a how to beat vid it would seem more like a story summary since the series just tells you how to beat every demon in the story and there isn’t much mistakes made by the main characters that can be altered for the main characters to survive it’s kinda just full of plot armour

If im being honest, I'd like to point some issues out. They could easily wall themselves in. Before the outmost walls were taken over, if they blocked the entrance (the only area where the titans can get through) they would be starving or running out of space for like 300 - 400 years. Even after the outmost walls were taken over, they could still last like 200

@@ww.mochii That was not the case until chapter 139. Prior to that, the manga made it seem like eren wanted to do the rumbling. Only after reading it was it revealed that Eren did not have any wish to do that and just had a gut feeling. Or which hints were there in the earlier parts of the story that make it seem like eren was ment to do that.

Watched a few minutes, but gtg eat now. Amazing video as always! It would be cool if you guys did series like corpse party or Seraph Of The End; though if you ever do do the last one, do make sure not to call the two main boys for brothers- i've seen some people mistakingly do that, which is not correct at all, especially since (no surprise to anyone who has watched the anime or read the manga) one of them has confirmed feelings for the other. Ain't going into more details than that

I love that you're very careful to pronounce everything with the best Japanese accent you can... even when the character names are mostly European 🤣 But fr tho, I genuinely do appreciate the effort. To me, it signifies respect. And that really matters to me, being a huge language geek.

On 7:00 of the video the mothers legs are not crushed as you can see her legs squirming when she is held by the titan. She lied that her legs were crushed so that Eren and Mikasa could escape.
