Malignance 4/5, Ayanmo Manopolas, Orpheus's Sash are mostly needed for this fight. The rest are filled with ACC/MACC. The fight is slightly luck-based depending on how fast you can land Silence when it gets Manafont off. The only spell that can kill you is Kaustra. Keep Odin dispelled so there's a better change of Odin using Endark and Dread Spikes. Silence isn't needed too much outside of Manafont since nothing will kill you, but recasting Utsusemi: Ichi and Ni will slow down DPS. I tried to keep Saboteur Frazzle III and Distract III since those really push DPS. You can impact Odin a few times also but I stopped at 2-3.

Would you be able to tell us what your enhancing skill is in your gearset? I have your entire engaged set but my DMG is so low i must be missing something so guessing my enhancing magic det is way off. I think im at 525.

Though I'm sure his enhancing is quite a bit higher than 525, keep in mind his damage is combined based on the number of attacks done in the sequence. So he'd be doing around 300~ per hit.

how are the additional effects spiking up to 1900 without crocea mors equipped?

The additional effects are not damaging 1,900 each, but it's part of the addon, Battlemod which adds up the round of swings. You will see on the side chat log 1-6, which is the number of swings. Hope this helps!

I was gonna ask if this was the Odin music (i dont play ffxi with music on) because it sounded like a straight rip of xenogears... guess it was just Xenogears afterall, though.

so the point of the Qutrub knife is to not actually deal damage for odin to build TP?

Yes that's correct, any weapon that has 0 dmg will work. It's just Qutrub Knife had one of the lowest delays at the time of posting.

I can't use a TP move since I generate 0 TP from doing 0 damage. The same applies to Odin, since I'm doing 0 damage (except impact spell), he won't generate any TP unless he hits me while I have 0 Utsusemi shadows up.

Qutrub Knife from this month's ambuscade and Ceremonial Dagger which can be bough from AH.

There was no Zan X since he never got one TP move off throughout the fight. The goal was to use lvl 1 daggers to feed 0 TP so Odin won't be able to use a TP move. The only TP feed throughout the fight was Impact for more DPS.

Nice video too bad it's a lie no head, body, legs, feet on vd with the rest of that gear you would not have the evasion or acc to pull that nice try ve is the difficulty he used
