your video really helped me., i had same issue with this htc 1 hygrothermometer. it gave LLL temp reading rather than blank. i followed your video and it fixed up. thanks a lot bro :)

I purchased one of these in Thailand, along with 2 mini ones. The mini ones temps are both near identical readings, and perfectly in line with my air con setting. However the HTC1 is reading a full 6 degrees C lower (and RH seems all over the place). I tried cracking it open and following the instructions, however the inside is slightly different without the rubber piece and a piece of tape in its place, the circuit board is also a different colour and appears smaller. It looked clean inside, but I cleaned it anyway, and this didn't resolve the issue. Seems the only thing it is good for is the bin! Perhaps I am being harsh and it was damaged in transit... Either way, I wouldn't buy this again, and mini hygrometer's ftw!

My htc-1 hygrometer is stuck on 99 percent after my tents humidifier when way above the 70 percent i set it at, now my meter is stuck at 99 percent humidity how do i fix this and if the temperature might be a little messed up. Will resetting these fix this problem with the htc-1 meter if not how?

Does this device have a way to adjust the calibration? Mine reports 3 degrees F cooler than other thermometers

I have the same problem with the HTC-2. Did you ever find a way to calibrate? There's a tiny reset button in mine but I don't know what would happen if I press it or how to use it to calibrate if possible.

Датчик температуры врет по крайней мере на 5 град.С выше. Куплено в Dollarama. Возврату и обмену не подлежит. Полный мусор.
