Жыл бұрынHTC Vive Cosmos for sim racing in 2023 - In this video I check out the HTC Vive cosmos for sim racing because there doesn't seem to be a lot of videos out there for the cosmos in sim racing so I thought I would check it out and see how it goes compared to the Rift S and the Quest 2 I currently have.

What resolution per eye you use in Steam VR?

The resolution is not 4k. So with my 4090 it heats up very much. If you want to see clear, you need to up the resolution but I'm doing so it ends up heating up because of higher work loads.

I just bought this headset for sim racing. I'm new to vr and I just got the headset by itself. Do I need trackers for it to work?

You mean base stations?, not unless you bought a cosmos elite, the base cosmos has inside out tracking to track itself

Yes, I will be doing a video on that shortly, it’s better, and clearer, it does have its downfalls too though

Too little too late. The vr headset is not good visually and the screen door effect is horrendous
