Күн бұрынIndian Navy officer Commander Abhilash Tomy attended the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2019 and recounted how he survived 72 hours at sea, alone and injured. Cdr Tomy was participating in the Golden Globe Race 2018 when his boat was struck by a storm which also left him with spinal injuries. The sailor said that he wants to go back to the seas.

No words to explain the state of mind while seeing such an interview... Eventhough very late to see this...many things to learn from such a brilliant person . Am not nitpicking, but the interviewer addressing a uniformed officer as 'Abhilash' or 'Tomy' is inappropriate and disrespectful. He earned his rank and the uniform he is wearing commands respect which is above casual salutations. Address him as Commander Abhilash or even Commander Tomy

My god. He is a man - real man, a hero not Salman Khan though. Unusually strong person, adventurous, bold and resourceful. Witty too despite such injury. I would like to compliment his valorous wife.
