HANABIE. is definitely THE next big thing in Japan. Al least, I hope so that they will be big. They incorporate many genre of music seamlessly and the production is always top notch also. Thanks for reacting to this one dudes 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Reiwa is latest name of Japanese Era started in 2019. Yukina's college friends resist many kinds of dating apps and it gave an inspiration of this song.

Love this track, great rap flow and that massive drop at the end is perfect. The literal translation of Hanabie is "cold flower" but it's meaning is a reference to chilly spring weather around the time the cherry blossom blooms each year. IIRC it was chosen as all of the 3 original members (Yukina, Matsuri, Hettsu) were born in or around that time. I don't think you've taken a look at the band Gacharic Spin yet? If not you might want to check out either of their new MV's, they are: MindSet I Wish I Gacharic Spin are a very unique band and you'll find both of those tracks above very different to each other if you decide to check them out!

花冷え is a cold snap during cherry flower viewing, and 令和 is the current emperor's era name. it's basically about the online dating culture, tinder etc.

The songs a criticism of dating app. It's about the dangers of online dating and how people treat each other like meat and move on to the next without form any sort of romantic bonds.

Hanabi : Hana = Flower, Bi = Firel ---> "Flower of Fire" ---> Fireworks Hanabie : Hana = Flower, Bie = Cold/Chill ---> Flower Chill or Chilly Spring Weather Hanabie has also meaning a temperature of “Sake” (Japanese Alcool) when you drink it at 10°C.

If you want a new group to check out I recommend PassCode. Should check out either Spark Ignition or Miss Unlimited for an introductory song. I would say the now retired Yuna from PassCode is just as good as Yukina is for harsh vocals.
