The Kuala Kangsar (Perak Malay: Kole Kangso) is the royal town of Perak, Malaysia. It is located approximately 25 km northwest of Ipoh, Perak's capital, and about 235 km from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Shot in March 2023. Color graded to own taste using a Film Emulation powergrade as base, DaVinci Resolve color managed. Added grain and halation. Blurred drone footage a little to match the rest.

You have left out one very importance thing, that is the first rubber tree planted in Malaysia was planted in this town, it just beside the majestic court house.

Beautifully filmed! May I ask if the drone shots were by Mini 3 or Mini 3 Pro? I find the Mini 3 Pro range is really bad in Malaysia ...wondering if Mini 3 would be better

Thanks for the kind words. I like your style of documentary too especially the 3 artisans video, very meaningful indeed. Mine is Mini 3, not the pro. but I quite don't understand your question here, mini 3 pro range is about 12km and mini 3 should be 10km if I guess your question correctly. But the furthest I flew was about 1.2km, beyond line of sight already.

@@storytinkers lol my approach is too amateurish I think, more cater to social media and what I can do with limited resources I have around me. It's kind of travelogue / personal diary, not very 'documentary'. That's why I admire your videos for the proper research and content, not easy being a documentary filmmaker as I know. And I like artistic filming in documentary like yours. Kudos to you and team. Sure I love to connect, found you in fb and will Whatsapp you through the mobile number on that page 🙏
