The Huawei GR5 2017 is the successor to last year’s similarly named GR5. The new smartphone brings a bunch of improvements all across the board and has a few tricks up it sleeves that makes it stand out from the crowd of premium midrange smartphones.

I got one . it is a beast. No lag, good camera, Performance is smooth. But low light not that good. A good budget phone. Searching for good back covers. not any covers in market yet. btw good review. Keep it up bruh. you deserve more subs.

I have this phone, consider the camera to be really good when compared my previous phone - a mid range Sony. I do have a concern about the gps abilities though, it had me way off four times so far in the google maps app (several kilometres away from my actual location). In each case I knew where I was so did not need gps, just as well. In none of these cases did I get the 'lost gps signal' warning. Never once had a problem of this type with any of the 6 phones I've had previously.

+Ahasan Ikbal Hi. I've found some reports online claiming that the Nougat update is actually rolling out to the GR5 2017. As for the premium version, I do not believe your experience will be greatly improved with it as it offers only more storage and RAM. Multitasking should be better on the premium version but again, it is unlikely to be that much different. Hope this helps

Long story short, honor is a sub-brand of huawei. In some markets it's the Huawei GR5 2017, in other markets it's the Honor 6X. Hope this helps :D

name is likely different for branding purposes in different markets. One brand name is more popular than the other in certain places around the world.

Hey, sorry we missed your comment on the previous video. Spec wise, the Snapdragon 801 is a more powerful CPU although it is 2 years old now. The GR5 on the flip side has an arguably better design and battery life. Hope this helps :)

I was about to buy P9lite 2017 but now I decided to buy GR 5 2017. camera is way better than p9lite and also storage of p9 lite 2017 is 16 GB while gr5's is 32 or 64. p9lite 2017 looks prettier but this is charismatic which is better. thanks for the video.
