Mine crashed within a day

This has only 1 fan. Fan noise is not audible with normal work except when gaming. Fan noise can sometimes be heard when laptop is charging but it goes back to being quiet very quickly. This is a quiet laptop.

@@teohyc Thank you Would you choose for surfing and films watching the D16 with AMD Ryzen 5 4600 ? (Quiet fast and silent and had score of 86 % in (Notebook check) from April 2021? Or would choose the D16 2022 with I5 12850H Intel processor which had in the (notebook check)from Juli 2022 a score of only 84%??

@@robertikfernando2226 Not sure about the Ryzen since I have not used that before. But I'm still using this D16 (typing on it right now) and it's a really good laptop for the money. Performance is really good, but in exchange you get 6 hours battery life which is actually alright, at least for me. This is a laptop I can recommend very easily, even today, probably cheaper too since it has been out for a while.

@@teohyc thank you Very much for your Answers The main thing for me in a quiet Laptop, in this point the AMD Ryzen are better, they consume less power so less heating and more quiet and much longer battery life : 7 hours in surfing for i5 CPU Vs 9 hours for AMD Ryzen 4600.. By the way it's really surprising that I can't find any tests or comparison in net in 2022 and 2023 for the most quiet laptops!!! Whyyy?? The only available comparisons are either for gaming laptops, or for fanless ones, and for the normal user's laptops I can't find any comparisons ((( can you please help ??

@@robertikfernando2226 If you don't mind Macs, the Macbooks are the most quiet laptops around, and have excellent 10++ hr battery life. Even the old M1 models are good, and much cheaper now since they have been out for a while.

@@thunruangroj-zd6vb I didn't mean that actually. Right of the bat, I was fine with it when I first purchased the laptop back in August and been using it till now. The real reason I wasn't satisfied was because it quickly filled up a lot of space when I was doing my work. It was then which I ask my dad's student who works at a pc shop that it wasn't possible for the storage to get upgraded.

@@thunruangroj-zd6vb But after I ask him yesterday, he told me that I was the one getting the wrong information here. He was mentioning about the laptop's ram that wasn't possible to be upgrade not the storage part. So yeah, I got the wrong information all this time.

@@teohontech7141 I took too long to decide, and the 5 units were sold out. Just handed over the 11th gen intel LG gram 14 to my wife, is there any windows laptop that can match its battery life? I get 11 hours on it when new for productivity stuff, and it runs pretty fast.

@@singlehorn2520 LG Gram is the only Windows laptop I know of that has the best battery life. You can check out Acer Swift Edge which was released recently, but that's as pricy as the LG Gram. By the way, I just saw that there are 5 Matebook D16 on Shopee SG now (Dec 2, 918pm)

Managed to finally buy it today during 12.12. $938.50 after stacking the coupons. Using it indoor most of the time, hopefully it is a huge upgrade from my 7th gen intel IdeaPad.

It would be great if battery life is longer but it's not a deal breaker. I've been using this for a month now and I'm still quite impressed by the performance. The Intel 12th gen H series processor is really good, but power hungry.

I'm usually use my displays, laptops and desktops at around 150-180 nits indoors. 249 nits outdoors should still be fine unless you're using it directly under the sun.

It's 300 nits.

I'm still using this and it still works great today
