I also went to my local store to test the D15. I know that when he says that there are 'better' budget laptops, just know that is NOT true. If you are looking for a budget laptop, not over $800 and has average power, and can game online and offline, the Matebook D15 is just the laptop for you! Screw this channel, so much for first impressions. And by the way, you are spoiled by the MacBook, which is a very overpriced gadget for a laptop.

I was looking for this comment, thank you! I got this laptop for $450 in Turkey, and there aren't many laptops in this price range that have aluminum material, a good screen to case ratio, and battery performance. If there are better laptops out there, I would like to hear it from the channel owner. But he didn't give any recommendations.

as with any notebook or rather battery operated system. this isn't a good idea as it wears down on the battery life.

You can but using it until the battery goes down to 15% then charging it would be healthier for the battery. Of course, you can continue to use it while it charges. Then unplug when battery reaches 100%.

Hi, thank you for the great review. I have a Huawei Psmart 2021 phone and really love the value you get for the low price, it's a great phone. However, because of issues with Huawei and Google am unable to access the Google store on my phone, so have to manually get apk files for the apps I use, bit of a pain. Are there any specific restrictions using the laptop? I would be buying it mainly for office work and a support unit for stock trading. Thanks

Not heavy usage 5-6 hrs, heavy usage like games 2-3 hrs. Charging time almost 2 hours

Normal usage 3-4hrs with another device collab. Charging time for me around 1.5-2hrs I have the i3.

The only difference between d15 and d14 is their screen size and weight. If you prefer a lighter one, you should go for D14. In terms of the processor, i3 is good enough for office works and browsing. It could also handle a non-extensive video editing and lightweight games like Axie Infinity and Minecraft for example. Since they already removed the feature where you can add a 2nd internal drive, it's recommended to just purchase their 512GB SSD variation if you're not planning to upgrade it to 1TB. (Suggestion): If you are tight in budget but need an additional storage for your files, you can just purchase their 512GB variation and buy an additional 1TB external drive.

It depends what you need it for , if its just school or office use then i3 is enough and u can save money, It has 8gb ram so with i3 it works , But if u wanna play heavy games or do high graphic designing i5 is good for the long run

Guys, can someone who owns one of these help out? I bought D15 2021 with 5500U/16GB and the problem is that the ram runs on 2666 instead of specified 3200. There is nothing in bios about memory frequency. Because with integrated graphics memory frequency directly affects gaming performance, I am a bit annoyed by this.

If you need to ask you ain't a good developer, are you? Anything with a decent cpu and at least 4gb ram is enough to develop.. If you are into ML you need a graphic card If you want to mobile dev with flutter you need an apple to get the xda..

This one bro for sure the huawei d15 is really good I bought it refurbished and has been working perfectly for all my school work and I also edit videos in decent quality, and also you can play a lot of games on decent graphics, obviously this laptop isn’t made for higher quality games but you can still run a lot of them perfecly …. The only bad feature on this thing is probably the camera the angle is not that good but it does the job ig
