I currently have the previous generation of MateBook in 13-inch size, and I'm looking hard at the 16s to replace it as I'm doing less business travel these days. The design problem of the 13 is that the plastic trim that runs round the laptop between the two surfaces of the main body and contains the various ports has cracked at both front corners - it's simply not sturdy enough for what is otherwise a very solid machine. Is the 16s constructed the same way?

I already have the Huawei Matebook 14s with Intel i7... really love it... but when i tried the 16s... I can't sleep, really want one... but need to sell the 14s first hahaha

Big screen but never mentioned about gaming and graphic card performance, so I presume it is really just for students and office work.

It's good for very light gaming. I play Overwatch on low settings, and get around 60-90 fps at 1080p.

No, definitely not for gamers. You can get gaming laptops in similar price range but they will be slightly heavier with worse CPU but much better GPU. So, it really comes down to your priorities. I don't play games so these types of laptops are perfect for me.

16s is a bit heavy, almost on the 2kg side. D16 is around 1.6 or 1.7kg
