I don't mind the camera position because i won't use the camera ever.

I have the original Matebook X Pro from a few years ago, and I gotta say, I still absolutely love this machine! I don't do anything too intensive, so the i5 model has suited my needs wonderfully. The screen is great for consuming media and doing everyday tasks, the speakers are loud and clear, the touchpad is smooth and responsive, and I get anywhere from 7 to 10 hours on a charge depending on usage. If you're in the market for a new laptop for average usage, you cannot go wrong with this one!

I like the Matebook X Pro although I would like a 15" version with the latest Nvidia Geforece MX450, as for the rest, what's not to like ?

Been using these Huawei Matebook pro laptops since 2018 models and i would recommend if you need the GeForce MX250 graphics then look elsewhere for a different laptop. The cooling really isn't very good for those models and a lot of people get failures/BSOD due to the heat issues. If you go for the i5 or i7 models with just the intel graphics then these laptops are stella. Very good indeed. You really are taking your chances with the Nvidia models tho and they won't last as many years as the Intel models before you have problems. The small bump in graphics performance you get from the Nvidia models just isn't worth the trade-off of longevity.

Still delighted with my original specced out Matebook X Pro that I've imported from the States (before it was available in the UK). Good to see they are iterating on it as it was hands down the best laptop in my research and I don't regret buying it for a second. Highly recommend

Gosh I want this laptop. But Im super happy with my Matebook X Pro 2018

As an owner of the 2018 Matebook X Pro, I must say this series is very reliable and great for almost any task, as I surf the web, type, game, and light video edit. My generation has an MX150, but that is enough for me, and I am building a desktop PC for myself now. The MX25” is a nice touch. Does anyone know if they changed the Thunderbolt 3 port from a half speed to a full speed? That was one sore point for me. I can still get 1080p at 144hz, but it is still very frustrating.

A warning to anyone who wants this laptop. Mine arrived today and first thing I did was test the temperatures. While I can't say it lags in use even when heavily thermal throttling, it throttles very easily and quickly. Granted its hot weather in the UK at the moment however, the whole laptop gets hot, and extremely hot to the touch in some spots. I had intended to undervolt it too but intel have blocked undervolting completely on the latest gen of intel chips so that's been a spanner in the works. Itd be a great laptop if it had proper cooling but its really bad. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Great review. I have a mid 2009 macbook Pro, yes it's old haha. I am on the fense as to what to but next. Would you say macbook Pro or Huawei matebook x. I edit KZfaq videos and obviously use KZfaq. Advice if possible.

great for content creator and some light gaming i love that they include a adapter but i doesn't have a full size sd card so you'll have to buy another adapter and i personally really don't care about the touch screen and it would be better if they lower the price in my opinion they are great for business kind of stuff. I would prefer choosing xps 15 or 17 lol ..

Between this Huawei macbook x pro 2020 and the Huawei matebook 14 2020, which one would you choose, the x pro has a mx 250 graphic and the matebook 14 2020 mx 350. Is there much improvement in the graphics? In other words, do you notice the difference when editing videos with the premiere and playing games?

Wow. It has a charger wich u can use to charge ur phone and transfer data. Dolby atmos speakers, 4 of them and especially the camera. Camera on keyboard is next level design. The quality is great.

I have the 2018 version, did they fix the touchpad rattle on this new 2020 model? And also a fix for the fan being noisy whenever the charger is plugged in for more than 10 minutes? Thats mostly my only complaints for the 2018 version..... and also the "average" battery life since its a 3k screen

I have the 2018 i7 version. I really like the screen, keyboard and sound. Not a huge fan of the trackpad and it does struggle with some of the creative cloud apps.

I have the matebook x pro 2018 model. It's a fantastic laptop, but when the fan comes on there is a really annoying whine that accompanies it. Not sure if my model is broken or if this applies to all matebook x pro laptops?
