Thank you for the video it helped me to install my new screen on. I would look like to make you realize that your new screen didn’t came with a speaker filter, so you’ll have to install the old one. I am realizing now also that my new screen didn’t came with a speaker replacement.

Hey My mobile screen doesn't lite up it works well but i have to point a flash light into it to see what on screen, so everything is okey except the screen light is missing , it was dropped in the water after that the problem appeared

When does one buy the screen replacement with frame? And when not?

With frame when the prices is not much higher or without the frame is a lot more difficult, and without frame when price is a lot lower than with frame or it is not that difficult to do without the frame. Hope it helps

Buying a frame means having to transplant the components which is totally unnecessary & adds a while onto the fix time. THE ONLY time I would buy a frame is when the existing one was twisted or bent, otherwise buy them without. Use a heat-plate instead of a gun. They're about £20 and loads less trouble, plus you can fix 3 or 4 at a time using them & the heat is uniform. With the button being recessed slightly AND plastic, the heat plate won't damage it whereas a gun could. Just a basic craft blade with sail through the glue after heating on 100 degrees C for about 3-4 minutes. Heat plates > Heat guns.

Well I've got the warning on my phone that it was overheating (in the sun and charging) and it was hot enough to be very uncomfortable to touch. I would get it just hot enough to burn you a bit.

@@Ilegator battery is fine, only reason I'm looking at this video is because I smashed my phone in my pocket at work, bent the back so far in that it cracked the front. It's still working just fine, absolutely no change in performance from before besides the ugly screen, I just want to replace the front and back frames. Got all the parts and tools coming in the mail shipped for like $50 so I'm stoked to have a phone I don't have to worry too much about as just about everything is cheaply and easily replaceable!

So many errors in this, I swear he works the for parts department. DO NOT unplug the Antenna as the male socket is tiny & literally connected to a gnats pube. The sockets are REALLY fragile and if they come off the board, that fine brown wire is TOAST no matter what. SO. LEAVE the white antenna attached and take up the board carefully leaving it plugged in. That little error set me back two days & a tenner. I could have done a better job without this stupid walk-thru, just from fixing P9s. The whole walk through could be less than 5 minutes long. Heat-plate, cut glue, unscrew, unplug, reglue, replug, seal. DONE !
