@@SoftSolutionsRepairsUK Thanks! Phone booted up correctly in the morning after being on the charger all night. Doesn't boot up after a restart, but boots up again after being on the charger for a couple of hours. Going to replace flex cable and NFC/wireless charging coil to hopefully fix this as the battery seems fine. Thanks again for the video.

It’s for those want to replace the screen with the frame

I think you need to take everything out so you can disconnect the lcd from the board.

And also how can I check if it is the original camera with opening the device, I have an app that tells me my specs and it's the same has the original, but I'm not sure if the app it's telling my actual specs or my original specs if in fact the camera has been changed

2 things might have happened 1: if the screen was completely smashed and you were unable to check the earpiece, it might have damaged when it got hit. 2: earpiece have 2 parts(housing & coil inside) and it’s easy to pull just 1 side of housing and if it happens coil gets damage, because the coil is stick to both sides of housing. In both case you will have to replace the earpiece.

Anything is better than old dried past, although mx4 is good.

At the point where u start removing unnecessary parts for one of the types of screens it would have been a great heads up . I followed your video and yes it worked but upon assembling I realised I had removed stuff I didnt need to

Probably isopropyl alcohol. At least that's what I'd use.

Disconnect and reconnect it back, try cleaning touch connector with isopropyl alcohol. If no luck, contact the supplier you bought the part from.

This video is without framed LCD replacement, which more harder and time consuming job. And if you watch this video completely, you would be able to replace with frame LCD and without frame.

But the Witrigs vid makes this clear tho ironically they then do a speeded up version for the frameless method, using arrows and pics of scissors etc (as if you should refer back to the previous method). So that is not clear either. There's a vid of some Turkish specialist taking over 20 mins and using more tools and precautions including a dust-dispeller thing and adjustable clamps for the final sealing of the two halves. All very intense. Channel is called something like Iletisim -- which makes me feel like I have dyslexia when I never have in over 50 years . . . Another point: how might one come across Huawei P30 Pro 'service pack'? I can only find ebay stuff, whether 'oem' or not. And i think 'oem' is used by Chinese fakers to deceive. Witrigs sells the P30 Pro OLED/LCDs but people are saying their OEMs are actually Chinese fakes along with the 'custom' ones they sell which are STATED to be non-oem. As clear as mud -- make that a flashing green P30 Pro screen that got dropped from a trivial height that an iphone would take in its stride and possibly even without a case . . .

You might have damaged it, while removing the speaker.

If you watch my other videos, tools has been told in some of those, so keeping the video short I don’t show and explain tools as I explain them while repairing.
