Hadn't seen these before - they look gorgeous. I've got a Garmin Vivoactive 3 from a few years ago, definitely feel the lack of battery life these days. One of these could be my upgrade!

Thanks for the comment. Totally agree. If you're coming from the Vivoactive 3, I would definitely suggest the GT series. Its battery life nails it, and the OLED screen is a nice pop versus Garmin's transflective display - Basil

Hi, great video on the different watch models. I’m more interested in the ultimate due to its style and the fact you can dive a 100m. Just one question if you know; can I use this watch in the US? Any information would be a great help. Thanks

The reason I moved away from Huawei watches was the lack of smart function in relation to notification management and connection to the calendar on the phone. I don't need to reply to messages from my watch but I do want to be able to clear notications from my phone by clearing them on the watach (and vice versa) and I definitely need to be able to see my calendar entries at a glance on my watch. Are these functions still only available when paired with a Huawei phone?

Hi Richard, totally understandable. Calendar entries are visible on the watches, I use Google Calendar with no problem, you just have to give the Health app permission. I don't believe notification clearing on your watch clears your phone. I'll update you if that changes - Basil

@@tech_edit I've just had a test and despite installing updates to my Watch 3 Active and making sure I had installed the latest versions of Huawei Health and App Gallery I cannot get the watch to sync my calendar on my Xperia 1V - the calendar app doesn't even appear in the app list on the watch. Guess it is limited to working on a Huawei phone running Harmony OS or EMUI or it's just been fixed in the Watch 4 range - pity because they are absolutely stunning hardware!

Hi! That's strange. It's working right now with my Oppo phone. Have you granted permissions? There's no calendar app, instead, it's the lifestyle complication. Swipe to the right of your home screen, long press, and add lifestyle from the list. I tap the calendar icon and have access to my Google calendar. Hope that works for you!

To be fair, that might be exclusive for the GT4 - hopefully it isn't.

@@tech_edit I don't seem to be able to edit options for the lifestyle screen (just voice assistant, music and weather) and the only other tile I can add beyond activity, heart rate etc is the huawei wallet. What version of Harmony OS is the GT4 running?

Would Like to add one Thing that i dont Like i would Love to buy the 4 pro in black because of the better health Checks but only the 4 comes in black the 4pro only comes in blue and silver.....whhhhyyyyy

Avoided it as the plague, hexagonal case. NO thanx, upgraded my GT2 with an ROUND GT3 PRO. Not to mention witch watch are you talking about Watch 4 or GT 4 they are TOTALLY different. Watch 4 lasts 4 DAY's, GT4 Lasts 14 days, and i STILL have no clue what watch you are talking about
