Matching it with the mag was very simple, we just gently turned the barrel in the thread untill there was no resistance to the mag, The alignment again was quite simple, the mag block on the 2022 version only has two alignment screws, this allows the mag alignment to be adjusted or moved untill the mag is in perfect alignment with the barrel, then you just nip the alignment screws up . As for polishing, that is going to be done at home, using the bootlace and knot method along with rotatable polishing mops. The barrel is very simple to remove ready for polishing. It's just a case of loosening the 16mm clamping nut to allow the barrel to be unscrewed. It will be polished this weekend with any tight spots removed. Then accuracy will be re tested. The match crown I have had done is night and day to the chipped and rough edged crown that you get from the factory. In my opinion it is a must. I also had the breach end of the barrel polished as the the breach end that aligns with the mag has a very sharp edge, the was definitely liable to stripping lead from the projectile launch from the mag into the barrel. Impressive work

Huben make the barrels in China, I no longer use that barrel I purchased a custom barrel from krazycool airguns, it is 4 inches longer and has improved the huben quite a bit,

@@user-di4ds1nv9u the custom TJ barrel was designed for the k1, it is 100mm longer so I had to remove all but 1 of the baffles from the shroud, I fitted it my self which was very easy to do, But mind you don't lose the plastic c clip from behind the mag, I have a 2022 version and the alignment of the mag was quite easy to do, I haven't got the stats on the twist rate but looking down the barrel I would say it is a slow twist . That TJ barrel with the .218 mag has definitely improved accuracy,

Well, I couldn't get slugs to group so I bit the bullet and ordered a custom .218 magazine and a custom TJ barrel from krazycool airguns, I haven't had time to try the slugs properly but the jsb redesigns are grouping just perfect at 1023 FPS 130bar reg 28 clicks out. I upped the reg to 150 but didn't see an improvement, so dropped back down to 130.
