There's a lot of Huda hate out there, but I love the quality of her shadows.

So what is the hate about? Is it all over the Beauty Bakery thing? It really wasn't novel of an idea? I can't keep up with all the tea. It's ice cold by the time it gets to me. When it comes down to it, it's about the product for me. I only get my panties in a twist when it's related to unfair, criminal like, business practice. If I based it on all the disgusting behavior of the developmentally arrested makeup brand faces, shoot, I wouldn't even be able to wear my own homemade makeup.

I have a deeper skin tone (half Indian, half Chinese with a golden-brown skin tone) and I absolutely love this palette. Haze is my favourite as it absolutely pops on my skin. The other mattes that look great on me are utopia and hot mess. The shimmers that I’m loving on my eyes are Mercury, Supernova and Frazzled. Deeper skin tones can definitely wear this and look great! It is a really fun look because the colours pop so much :)

Morgan, your lighting is by far the only lighting I’ve seen that shows a true rendition of what the palette actually looks like! All others I’ve seen make the colors look super washed out and uninteresting. Gonna have to pick this up! Thank you!! 🤗🤗

This is not a beginner pallet. People need to know about eyeshadow primer and glitter glue. May also need some cool toned darker mattes, but I have plenty of those.

This palette is SO PRETTY to me. I had to get it - plus with the Sephora sale it was 20% off!! My only problem is that it's so pretty and perfect and don't want to use it

I'm looking forward to getting mine soon, should be here this week. I love all my Huda palettes and this color scheme is pretty. I have a med-deep complexion and think it's going to pop on my complexion. Will keep you posted. Love your eye look!!

I'm a dark-skinned black woman, so gonna have to pass -- the mattes are way too light and most of the shimmers seems to be sheerer than I like. Pretty from afar, though! Your look is gorgeous.

@@mdramaqueen121 Haha, thank you! In the year since I posted this, I bought Mercury retrograde on sale and yeah, it is too light. Naughty looks better but I'm probably going to wait on it because I have her Nude Rich and Nude Medium palettes already. But thanks for the suggestion! :-)

This look is so beautiful!! I love this pallet soooooooo much. It's my favorite pallet of the year so far. I've added a couple pat McGrath and natasha denona to my collection too, and this one's IT for me!!! The quality of this one is wonderful. I wasn't impressed with desert dusk or new nude. I will say I'm a pastel lover though and dont add much depth to my looks usually so it's definitely a personal style/preference thing;)

been waiting for this!!! i thought i was over with Huda but she went out making this palette of a dream!!!! it looks good on you! i got rid of the rose gold and desert dusk but since she put pops of colors in this new palette, i said to myself i have to have it!

I am supposed to be on a NO buy but can’t get it out of my mind. I am going to try to get a gift card on my Rouge points. I love cool tones. I can wear both but since I have magenta streaks in my hair, cool tones work better. You are right about the lack of depth but since I have a bunch of Viseart mattes as well as Dose of Colors mattes, ect, ect. Too Faced glitter glue is awesome for any glitter/shimmers, on my hooded lids. I use that stuff every day, along with primer underneath, for my mattes. Also, a shout out to Duraline liquid which you can use to moisten any dried out shadow as well as make any non glitter shadow into a waterproof liner.

I use cheap sponge eyeshadow applicators for pressed glitters on my inner corners. Gives me more control than my finger. I still use my finger for the very center of my lid. I also wish the deeper shades were a bit deeper. I could see myself reaching for a matte black or gun metal grey to pop in the outer corner if I owned this. Add that deminsion I crave. I'm just in LOVE with these colors. I feel THIS is the color story the norvina palette should have been. I'm definitely buying this.
