Perfect review, cheers. I was after something to boost my protein rather than a meal replacement so this sounds ideal. You need to be on commission mate.

very nice review i have had the strawberry and cream and i left some for 15 minutes and the smell and colour changes have you noticed this

Hi, I've just started taking huel black edition, I'm having it for breakfast and lunch (2scoops, 500ml water) , my questions is, does it count as tacking water for the recommended amount I should drink in the day? P.s love your reviews

Good question. I'm no expert, but I have read on other some sites "So long as you mix your drink with water instead of milk or juice, your powdered drink can be counted towards your water intake." 👍

The short answer is, yes. Each scoop gives you 250 mL of water which counts to your daily water intake.

It's much smoother than the Huel Black because doesn't have the oats etc... I think you'll enjoy 👍

Yes, I like banana milkshake flavour. It's not dusty, I think because not rice protein inside.

How would you compare it to Huel Black? Is it worth it to get it as a addition or not that big difference?

They are different things. You can easily use both. The Black Huel being your main meal and then the Protein snack being used as a "between meals snack/drink". The Black Huel provides a wider range of nutrients that you require for a full "meal".

Can't quite understand why you'd choose this over Huel Black to be honest. Black gives 40g which is 2 scoops of this stuff, plus you get all the other nutrition. Black is pretty much an enhanced protein shake in my eyes. With this you have to go to the same effort of blending so I don't see why you would choose this over a solid snack i.e. protein bar or just Huel Black! Thanks for the review

it's a snack - so serves as a supplement between meals (where I might have Huel Balck) and an alternative to the snack bar. for example - I have it as an evening drink

For comparison, a Grenade Carb Killa bar is £2 for 20g protein. Huel's protein powder is 87p for 20g protein. I agree with you; the hassle of preparing this is a little annoying, but that's the case with any protein shake. It's a snack, first and foremost, and not meant to replace their Black Edition range. I would potentially have one of these after breakfast, for example, with a proper Huel for lunch. Plus, you only need 300ml of water, which is approximately half of what a standard Huel drink requires.

The black edition kinda sucks, it’s really grainy and clumps after adding the amount of water they say you need, even when adding a little more it still clumps in a blender bottle so if your on the go it’s a huge hassle, taste isn’t the best either lol, unless you add some pb of banana to it, if your hat home and have a blender it’ll work decent but if your out or at work then you can’t really use it

You're right, It's just weird to me how a bag of powder can cost more than €30. But I guess its true that huel is more than just a powder. I Also have cravings for huel which I guess means my body likes it?

So what is the difference between this and the Huel Black? They are both high protein shakes....aren't they..?? Help! I don't know what to order 🤔!

Huel Black is a complete meal - with all your mineral and nutrient requirements from a standard meal - but with some extra protein (compared to standard Huel). The Huel Protein in this video is specifically a protein shake - it is a snack to have between meals - to give you a protein boost - and hopefully stave off hunger and snacking temptations between meals.

Hurl black is a high protein complete meal ( also carbs and fats). Huel protein Is just protein with vitamins

@@CliveIllenden True but couldn't these people buy regular Huel, use one scoop and it would last way longer. I guess one scoop is still like 200calories whereas Huel CP is 100 calories

😂.... My journey into complete nutritional meal products started with Huel over 4 years ago... wasn't always fan of their flavours - but recently they've developed great flavours and products. Always curious about their latest products ... 👍
