Dont know how many times I have watched this (sound up loud ... sub cranked) .... just magic. I spent much of my youth working with these beautiful machines, and all those sounds and smells they produce are just .... magic. Awesome post !

I believe I could sleep to this sound. This was the first chopper I was ever on. It was a medevac looking for for victims of the flood in southern Wv. I have been in several types but the huey steals the show

Tail rotor on the left side-think that means it’s a UH-1. I defer to folks who may know for sure, but I think the civilian equivalent 205 has the tail rotor on the right side.

@@brinsonharris9816 You're right, a quick glance at pretty much all the other civilian variants (didn't bother with the 214b, the engine and blades are massive in comparison so no point there) are right-side tail rotor. Interesting to see a military platform in civilian livery.
