Shein and similar websites make it easier to buy clothes and accessories that are trendy at cheap prices. However, their low prices are being paid at the cost of low working wages for the people making these clothes. It's difficult to shop on a tight budget but it's a good thing there are thrift stores! as well as ethical and sustainable brands!

@Janiya Gowdy no you shouldn't buy from them at all but I can understand that if you can only buy clothing that is very cheap from romwe or shein. But she is OBVIOUSLY wealthy enough to buy ethical clothing that sure, costs 40 dollars plus for each item but it is much better quality and sustainably and ethically made. If she can spend 200-1000 dollars WEEKLY on a brand that supports unethical labor, child labor, is antisemitic, and it's terrifying to imagine how much of this is gonna end up in a landfill.

I thought everyone was now aware of how bad SHEIN (and other fast fashion industries) are. Why do you buy so many clothes at once without thinking about how it is made, what the working conditions are like and what happens when you no longer want all these clothes. Think before you buy anything.

I love her style but there are some suggestions i’d like the make for her videos :) i know i dont speak on behalf of everyone but i hope this will be considered Maybe using different adjectives when talking about items and having music over tryon portions instead of talking because it breaks up the ramble. Things other than super nice, soft, versatile, maybe like describing the fit and the materials more than just it fits nice and feels good quality. I also dont trust shein to have good quality so a better description would be great. Im sure Jasmine is smart and she seems genuine and hope she sees this and can change up the layout of her vids a bit. Thank you to everyone who replied to me in the comments :)

Spending thousands on fast fashion isn't really- please understand that these clothes won't last longer than 1/2 years... Wich means all the water and effort put in the clothing will be wasted. This is also made by underpaid workers. I understand that brands like shein are a good solution for people that don't have alot to spent and still want to buy trendy clothing sometimes but if you are spending a thousand dollars it would be better to buy some less clothing but for better quality in for example small buisnesses. This is no hate on you and i am not telling you what to do or something, it is completely your choice. I love your style but this is just my opinion on brands like shein. 💗 Also, for the people who want to know where to buy cute clothing for cheap and good quality: thrifting is a great option! 80% of my closet of thrifted.

i totally agree ! I love thrifting and its such a great alternative. I still shop from shein because its afforable for me since i don't got much money to get clothes from. But i defiently am getting more into thrifing :) got a lot of cute clothes from places like salvation army and all that

I also don't have the money for 40,- t-shirts and if i REALLY can't find something i want in thriftstores i also look in stores like h&m or zara. But i'm talking about people like this girl. Who make HUGE orders on fast fashion sites on weekly basis. She DOES have the money to buy eco-friendly clothing but she just buys a whole new closet of fast fashion stores every week.

thrifting doesn’t have nearly as much and as good items as shein. If you want to make a difference then go after the company not the buyers. Your not going to be able to convince every customer to stop buying (which will lead shein to bankruptcy) so unless you want to keep pointlessly talking to a wall, go email the company and sweat shops

Ok so I’ve seen a lot of comments saying that Shein is not a good place to but your clothes. So I looked into it and apparently some of the things that are said are true however it has never been confirmed that Shein has underpaid workers as far as I’ve researched. That being said, can someone please give me a recommendation on another place I can shop at to get trendy clothes? It would be much appreciated! And no hate to Jasmine either!

Hey! It really depends on the items. Normally when I order from Shein the boxes come 2 at a time but sometimes it comes one by one and sometimes they all come at once. I definitely suggest keeping up with tracking 😊💕

holy crap thats a lot of cute stuff, but I recommend not supporting brands like shein, you even have a large following, instead, sustainable methods like thrifting/ depop is so much better x

Please look into more ethical and sustainable clothing brands. It's better to get less items that you will keep longer instead of clothing made for only a short wear. Shein uses child labor, steals designs from small businesses, and contributes to waste. I know that there are low income people who can only afford fast fashion, but you can afford sustainable, ethical clothing. And I know that you alone are not the problem, no one specifically is, but we all need to do our best so I'm just informing you of the problem with fast fashion.
