I found a yard to take my ewaste to that pays far better than the one I go to now. I go to one in fargo, North Dakota which that yard is 20 minutes from home. Now the yard I'm gonna go to that pays better in in Albany, Minnesota the prices there are in some cases 5 times more money in other cases maybe closer to 11 times more cash 💸

Great video Roe .I can see how doing the labour yourself gives you more cash, so it's well worth it. That was cool watching you take the copper out of the Compressor ha ah. Oh back surgery, Well wishes for you, hope you have a good recovery and all goes well. Thank for sharing, stay well.

Massive effort man, but thanks heaps for taking the time to disect and show us the inners. I get 65c / kg for compressors as they sit so roughly $52 a piece. I know Dan the Scrapper gets $1 / kg or there abouts and he's around an hour drive from where I live, so he'd be getting around $78 per unit. Pretty damn good for just taking them in I think. Great score no matter how you look at it. Our burnt (#2) copper prices are almost identical. Love your work Roe. Cheers from Aus. 👍

Lotta work, but if you're needing to pay a bill........I live in an apartment with old folks around that have selective deafness - their loud TV's are fine but if I pound some copper outta transformers, heaven forbid. The noise from all that grinding would be informed to management immediately 😃.Cheers from Tampa.

All depends on the time you have on your hands. Another thing to consider with the compressor is the oil in it. If your opening up 8 of them that’s going to be a lot of oil and they take a while to drain and a pain to get rid of.

It’s easier with these particular ones just to cash them in! The 5 ton I’ll cut open for sure!
