This RC buggy is HUGE! It's the HBX T6; a 1/6th scale, electric powered, brushless dune buggy that flies over ALL kinds of terrain!
It hauls at 54 MPH! Looks super cool, hot orange design, high grip tires, oil filled shocks, metal chassis.
Even though it's only rear wheel drive, it can still cruise all over: pavement, grass, dirt, mulch, sand, and more!
It has massive torque and power, flying over jumps with a great suspension system to absorb the landings.
Now even though I LOVED driving this huge rc buggy around, it's not without some issues that have come up.. watch my video for details.

Well. for starters: IT IS NOT MASSIVE. And NOT HUGE. There's plethora of much much bigger RC cars and they are called Large Scale :-) Not even massive. To earn "massive" adjective you gotta build something yourself. Something bigger than 1:5 large scale I guess. Very good vid. Product not so much.

AuthenTech - Ben Schmanke Hello! I bought a 1/12 scale rock crawler that you have previously reviewed before. I actually bought that RC car thinking it would be a great car for a start. Yet after about 2 weeks of driving it, l had the same problem that you had with this buggy. Whenever l try and press the throttle completely, it screams as if it were going fast but it barely even rolls. I was hoping maybe you can find me tutorials on how to fix this problem with this RC car. Great vids by the way!

ELECTRO ZAP the review is biased. If you were sent free lipo batteries wouldn't you? Also, he talked about the problems as if they were just minor setbacks.

This is the best video I've been able to find about this beast mate, thank you! I'm still pretty new to rc cars, but I reckon I've outgrown the HSP I've been learning on.. I see this thing is a couple of years old now, how does it compare to newer models? Is there anything this kinda size for around the same price that you would recommend instead of this now?

Always, always, always, always! Disassemble you kits and apply thread lock to screw that go into metal. Yes, it may take a while but it's well worth it. Just like you encountered, I have received some loose screws around the motor mounts here and there. Personally, I do the wheels first and those are usually 1st to go flying off lol.

Thanks for a great review that was fair and most importantly honest! I have seen other reviews on this same rig that were glowing, problem free and left me wondering how accurate the review had been. You gave an informed upload and were not swayed by the fact BangGood provided the car. So a good car, but, price, parts, design, construction, and maintenance were all issues. Hey maybe version 2 may address the issues from your honest appraisal?

As it goes for the bearings find out the size and contact skf bearings like I did for mine before I drove it because I seen you're vid i locktited the motor mount no issue and and no bearing failure

If your gonna get into 1/5th scale RC the Hpi Baja 5B is the best way to go. Great durability, power and lots of noise! (if u like that kinda thing)

Chrono™ the range on such cars are 100-200 m i have one and i drove it 140 m away and i still had controll and if youre wondering how i could see it my friend followed me with a drone fpv

Yeah I had the same issues. But have come to expect things like lack of loctite on metal to metal screws and poor setup out of the box from RTR's these days. Just a quick hint. If you have the time remove the gearbox completely and put some grease on the idler gear and drive gear to diff crown gear. Quiets down the gears. Also the diff could use some shims on the outdrive bearings to tighten it up.

your video was great but some good advice when u charge the lipo's, charge them in a lipo safe bag and when you store them keep them on 1/3 or if u own a smart lipo charger with an interface there might be a lipo store mode and if you are storing them you should still put them in a lipo safe bag (I know u might already know this but it's just peace of mind)

Hello. So it is a reliable car ? I would like to buy this for asphalt - sand terrain uses, but i don't want broken things after a couple of runs (no crashes intended of course). It is overpriced imho, but i can't find any good 1:8 2WD out there.....they are all 4WD basically, but i find much more amusing driving an 2WD. Suggestions ?

Thanks. Judging from comments all over the web,Raider seems like very fragile with cheap plastic parts and not a durable. Raider it's 4WD. I think the best option for me it is to find an used HPI Savage and modify to 2WD.

Unfortunately the weight is not mentioned ... there are those who say weighs 12.5kg (I think it is exaggerated considering that the cen colossus xt 1:5 weighs on 7kg / x-maxx 8kg ) i think i go on 6kg in line with the xb trailblazer Could not you weigh the medium yourself? Thank you

Whatever warble filter you have on the vocal is unlistenable. I don't know if it's just a stereo delay that's supposed to be a doubling effect or what, but it's really off putting for me. Also, the 'S' at the end of chassis is silent.

the wheel bearing got destroyed because of the sand they dont ship lipo batterys often because they are dangerous to ship and you need to get a new spur gear and pinion gear

4500mah is not huge, I have twin 10000 4s, they are quite large but I have seen what a huge battery is, a 6s 15000 is a bit bigger that a paver brick. thats huge.

After reading some of the posts below ?? if this is a new company, there will be some glitches, Now if the company stands behind the model if used the proper way instead of say jumping off a 20ft whatever and landing on concrete or similar, Then that would be a thumbs up, If the company did the right thing and made the model with the same mounting and other things, then that would a thumbs up,

i would not order from banggood ever again i ordered 3 seperate vehicles at the same time received the first one broken 2nd one fine but the 3rd never came filed a complaint to no avail. next time im going to my local hobby store it will cost me a little more but its worth it
