Yeah , it did look like the HQ may have given the torana a gentle touch in the bum , hence the fist out the window , and it seemed pretty obvious as a bit of pay back the little torana gave him a little love tap off the track :) . Those little toranas back in the day where fun to drive , especially a warmed up one .

@Josh Deason by the same token just because someone gets around you (fairly) doesn’t mean you can tap them on the rear and spin them around. He did it twice.

@@alwaysright7090 Right again. But, he had a bigger & much more powerful car. He'd reeled the LJ in no trouble at all. All he had to do was be a little more careful, pick the right moment & power past. But, nope, he ran in under brakes too hard, punted the much lighter LJ in the arse, barged past anyway & left his own fat arse laying around as a target. What goes around, comes around. Maybe he learned something, maybe he didn't. He has no valid excuse for belting the back of the LJ, just as ol' mate has no valid excuse for tapping the HQ. Thankfully Mr LJ sent Mr HQ off where he wasn't ending up in the wall. That would have been excessive. This little episode is representative of life in general... If every time some dumb oaf injured the little guy, he copped a return serve, oafs would learn a whole lot sooner or just get left in the pram.

@@Mattsretiring Yeah, it's quite possible. He's running up front, I presume, so the setup must work somehow! Maybe it's needed to get the car to turn better. Getting better laptimes but sacrificing stability and even tyre wear. Love to find out!

Yes , they where scary fast little cars , but a lot of fun and back in the old days , the 1960`s and 70`s handling and brakes made them even more fun. 99% of the modern computer cars of today have a turn of speed , but most are utterly devoid of any feeling , and are more like clinically made automatic washing machines that just do a job , and EV`s imo are even worse in my book . Just imagine in 10 or 20 years if and when electric cars are going around the track , it will be like watching a bunch of vacuum cleaners going around with no noise . If only we could turn back the clock .
