A huge explosion hit the city of Rafah in southern Gaza over the weekend, as Palestinians sheltering there brace for an Israeli ground offensive. The IDF is hitting Rafah, the last holdout of Hamas in Gaza, with airstrikes ahead of an expected incursion by ground forces which has been on hold for weeks. America and other Israeli allies oppose an attack because the city is currently home to 1million Palestinians who have fled other areas of the strip. But Benjamin Netanyahu argues it is necessary to wipe out Hamas as a fighting force and bring home all hostages taken during the October 7 attack. Israeli ground operations are continuing elsewhere in the strip, though at a reduced scale compared to previous months. Video from the elite Nahal Brigade showed troops operating in the central Gaza Strip, which has been under IDF control since late last year. #israel #hamas #rafah

Happened many times in Ukraine with people filming missiles before they strike their targets. Could be that they were filming for another purpose or simply heard the sound of the missile as it was coming

So by "Last holdout of Hamas in Gaza" which is the only place they are, just so happens to be the area with the last habitable buildings in the whole strip. So it's pretty interesting that they choose to bomb areas that are residential and crowded with people, destroying houses and not waiting for everyone to evacuate before they go in.

Except Israel routinely drops two or more bombs or missiles, especially when they are taking out an entire building, which this large payload and visible bomb makes obvious was the goal. The second explosion has a sound signature nearly IDENTICAL to the first that it's a lot more likely to be a second hit. Despite them also proving they have the accuracy and ability to calculate the payload needed to minimize collateral damage, like the targeted strike in Damascus. Your comments suggests that you only know enough to be dangerous with your misinformation or you're a routine but low-effort propagandist.

@@Liorsarussi How? Try reading the definition of Genocide and the Convention against it, that IL is a signatory to. Remember that the crime of genocide was something specifically created BECAUSE of the horrors committed in WWII, and the crime itself is met even if it is not successfully carried out. This is not like the crime of "murder", this is also inclusive of the planning. Try reading statements of genocide and Holocaust scholars. The only reason you don't think it is a genocide is because of your uninformed OPINION. Not the law, not the official definition. Having a high number of total dead (and there already is) is not what qualifies a violent campaign as genocide, unless you are a propagandist or a racist supremacist.
