Confirmed, no blue-eyes. Only synchros and xyz dragon staples (dictator doesn't count), he left it on the field only because there was any other link or a sacrifice to use it.@@Poogimuns

Can't call a deck tier 0 if the opponent lets you do everything I find it hard to believe these opponents bricked that bad because I seen choking points through out these combos.

I would say it's actually good against Dark Ruler, you still have a lot of interruptions and followup if you run Beast and use the Bystials properly. Triple Tactics and Evenly Matched are bigger problems. There's so many monster negates but very few spell/trap negates.. You can tribute Dis Pater with Branded Beast then revive it with Regained, or pop something and send an extra monster to the grave with Beast and Druiswurm.

The state of yugioh, specifically master duel, is so ass to me. To have the goal of making sure your opponent can’t play at all within your first turn just isn’t fun. All decks are set up with that 1 goal nowadays, no competitive back & forth (this is a general comment btw, great video as always Sam!)

It doesn't help that the first turn takes forever to end. If it was just a couple of card combos it would maybe still be fine, but who wants to watch their opponent play solitaire for 5 minutes?

There is lots of back and forth. Ash, Veiler, Imperm, Droll, Ghost Ogre, Ghost Belle, Talents, Thrust, (Maxx C in MD). "Old school" YGO wasn't much different and had more BS wirh no way to stop your opp from FTKing you (Library FTK, Elma loops, etc)

Actually... Pater is a latin word for father and it often refers to God as the Holy Father or Heavenly Father. This goes well with the Dogmatika theme. And it is pronounced as "pah-ter" like the first half of power and terra. Pa-ter. Páter and not pétör

Dark ruler is important for the deck and dark ruler with foxy into zombie vampire is the easiest way to get monsters into GY for additional banishing, but I respect a pure BEWD deck enjoyer.

I play a deck with Dark Magician , Red Eyes, Blue Eyes, Colored Eyes, Despia, and Obelisk. It might not be the best. But I play it because I like these cards and I don't have millions of diamonds to buy every card. And if my opponent didn't negate everything, I could play it better. But I'm usually lucky that the opponent ashes me. 😅
