yes, but i hope people use it just as a movement tool not to fight him on it all the time. horse is a noob trap that causes you to not learn the boss. take for example the first tree sentinel in the game, ive seen new people go fight him on horse thinking they can beat him now, and the bosses moves will be cut in half nearly, it will be doing more or less the same 2 running horseback attacks. when the person gets knocked off torrent, because you cant dodge on a horse, they get the bosses standing still moves and they panic roll like crazy and die because theyve never seen those moves while on horse back the last 10 attempts

Yea, feel that is in line. The poise damage is unchanged for the melee connecting and that is what you are aiming for anyways in PvE and it's still the single strongest R2 move in the game.

This baffled me! when the rest of the weapons that had that attack were nerfed the serpent hunter wasn't so I had been expecting a nerf for a while now but I guess they had other plans.

It actually got 2 frames slower, it's an error in the patch notes. Went from Frame 13 to Frame 15.

I feel like dual thrusting sword weren't even good, or maybe I was just bad with them. A lot of the nerfs were needed but I think this set up specifically should get rebuffed.

Loved dual estoc. My go to cold build. I could burst a ton of damage. They already had poor poise damage but now they are just an invite for me to grab my ankles. Fine. Another weapon I won’t use anymore. Claymore it is. Just weird. This is all a push to use the new weapons, that they’ll wind up nerfing. This is becoming Sarcasticball.

Although I doubt it, they thought nerfing the Buckler (the second best parry tool in the game) was warranted, they they probably still aren't better than pre-nerf Buckler.

i had similar thoughts, reducing the unlimited fp won't stop someone from nuking a boss, even if you aren't strong enough to kill, it still does a huge chunk. nerfing the time it takes just makes it worse for anyone who would use it for its intended use of just unlimited magic for a bit. a better solution is out there but this wasn't it.

That only applies to crafted consumables, the nerf was strictly to make them less effective because they were kind of busted in Online play, they gave you a tons of negation and poise, it's basically a pocket Endure that you don't need to apply to a weapon, giving you an insane surprise factor.

Moonveil is one of the easiest AoW’s for me to dodge. It has a huge “tell” because they have to sheath their weapon first. I think it’s a divisive weapon because noobs like to use it and spam it, and then the dads all come out and complain about it because they don’t know how to dodge. The only time it’s really problematic is in a 1v3. I still don’t like it and I’m fine with the nerf, I just don’t see why it’s such problem for people. Assuming it’s the casual players that are the loudest haters of it.
