FYI the AS in AS350 stands for Aérospatiale which was formed from Sud Aviaiton, and some other companies, which was then bought out by Airbus which changed all the model numbers for no reason whatsoever.

yes, I prefer to stick with their baptismal model names, ie, Eurocopter, Eco-star, EC-130, 120 etc. not airbus H-130 , etc, AS305b2, b3 etc

Gotta say, I love the Cowansim helis. Also, I had to get support for the 206 recently (I fly with all Assistances switched off and needed help setting up controls) and they replied to my email and helped with my problem in less than an hour.

The H125 is a fantastic helicopter with pleanty of power in reserve. We operate one were I work at Saxonair, based at EGSH Norwich Airport. Great review, looks amazing, will have to get it!!

Our fleet flies into there a lot. I'm often down there as well getting some pictures. But I tend to miss our aircraft!

Yay! Now I only have to wait 3 months before it gets updated in the marketplace as well. ;) And "ei" in "Meiringen" or any other german word is always pronouced like the english "i". "Myringen" would be a phonetic spelling that works. And the mountain you were looking at from the Observatory where you assumed it to be the Jungfrau was the Mönch.

Thx for the geat flight. By the way, Angel you were flying over the AXALP. Home of one of the most impressive flight-shows. Swiss army F 18s are shooticg hot targets between the mountains with lots of flightentusiasts watching. Need to google this ... plenty of vids on you tube.

Hi there, I recieved an update to H125 in MSFS yesterday. Thanks for your video showing the changes. I will be checking it out today. The Swiss scenery is fab!! I'm currently in Nepal ( in the sim ) Sitting at Luckla . Heading for base camp later. I did this run brfore the update, it will be interesting to see what has changed / improved. Thanks again.

First off, thanks for the review. Great to see developers making significant improvements rather than just “supporting” (abandoning development). As a second point, thank you for flying in Switzerland. I’ve found that high-altitude helicopter snow ops up to observatory or snow camps to be my favorite helo flights - challenging given altitude plus the views are truly amazing (esp, given my wanderlust).

Thanks for this video Av Angel. This is one of my favorite locations for helo flying. You inspired me to try my first CS H125 v2 flight from Lukla up as far of Everest as I could take it, which ended up being almost 26,000' or about 2,500' higher than I did with v1. I marvel that someone landed on the summit IRL in this helicopter and wonder if the designers at Cowan Sim have the modeled to do the same under ideal conditions??

I think Matt wrote on the Working Title Discord that they will not implement the smaller potrait oriented G3X units, because they are too different from the landscape oriented big G3X (10 inches?). Will be interesting to see if Cowan will keep the crappy smaller Asobo G3X, or do a 3.0 update with the bigger WT G3X. Personally I find the current G3X in the H125 rather useless. Never used it for more than a minute before switching back to analog.

That would make sense, a lot ot redo to make the vertical ones. Perhaps they will fit a single landscape one, but unsure honestly. Glad to get the new G3Xs at least. Like you I too prefer the analogue in this girl.

Why do helicopters look like they handle so strangely? I thought the native implementation would have helped so long ago but there is no weight to anything, so strange.

There is plenty of weight, just a few other factors that vary. They're pretty good overall.

Why do all the recent Cowansim upgrades and releases see a downgrade in FPS in VR? It's literally the reason I put up with the sub-par Msfs flight model. Back to Flyisinside and Taogs Hangar it is, really wish I could be exitied about this but it's an immersion killer.

No idea when it comes to VR, but i did notice a slight drop in normal that went away... loading something?

@@AvAngel Will give it another go later for a while and see if it gets any better. I did notice in smooth flight it's fine, it's more when pulling a banked turn that I notice the drop. Don't seem to get it in those other helis i mentioned, or the hype 160 and 145.

Cover me impressed becuze i been scammed, i have the H125 version 2.1.0 and i can't change the GTN, the SAS system also non functional, internal quality is horrible...so yeah impressive...

That’s not a scam you have a big, delete it and reinstall clean snd it will work

@@AvAngel True it's not a scam i can get my money back so I'm lucky but it is misleading, the model at least the 125 but I have a feeling the 130 too don't come with the PMS Module, I went trough quite a lot of trouble to find it out. Before that I of course uninstalled and installed it multiple times thinking that might be the issue but no, the model simply don't come with the GTG options.

That's why I do NOT like MSFS, always changes I've bought the old model because I wanted it. Wouldn't have bought this thing, though. I want my money back☝
