great job. i love the music when you off-load. i love the morning sunshine and the beautiful lined streets with trees. i love the before and after of your truck. i think if my dad were alive today he would be a scrapper. no shame in helping yourself to the remnants of something not useable anymore and making a profit scrapping it. i know when i donate things i love to see that my stuff i no longer want or can use go to someone that can use it or find a way to use it again. thanks for a job well done.

Last time it was the meeting of the fan club and today you've been framed. At this rate you will need to order more business cards. Awesome. Fantastic day. Its true when I was a kid it was the "Junk Man" and they were looked down upon. My Dad used to go out to the dump to look for raw materials he could make into useful things. I well remember the soap boxes , doll houses , doll beds etc he would build. We had some unique toys growing up and he had a fab imagination. Bless you for making that man feel better about what he does. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤🙏🙏

I've been watching you from New Zealand. I wish we had people like you who could collect scrap and earn some money. Everything we dump we pay for except for metals, paper etc that's a free dump. But so much goes straight to the dump pit. I hope and pray for your shoulder pain. I have struggled with weight and know too how hard it is. KEEP on doing what you doing cause as you say there's money to be made and once people know your coming around maybe they will start putting their metals out.

Thanks again Paul. Great haul praise God. I don't scrap for a living (yet) and probably 70% I give to an 80 yr old man who does it to supplement his S.S. I try to repair some appliances and other items and resell them (another form of recycling). 10% of profit goes to our church building fund. Some things I sell at our men's Fellowship yard sale. 10% of all income goes back to God who has NEVER failed to provide for my wife and I. We're on S.S. and get very little, but God has ALWAYS provided, praise God!

Where I use to live in IL people in my subdivision would make fun of the guys who came around collecting the scrap metal every Monday (Tuesdays were garbage/recycling/yard waste day in my area) UNTIL people were moving and had to get rid of exercise equipment, weight sets etc. I was very glad to put scrap metal out early and opposite where I put the garbage so the scrappers would see it. I was happy someone would recycle it and make some money. Heck, I got MY use out of whatever scrap stuff I put out. Cleaning out my mother's house I met the nicest scrapper guy. He gave me his phone # and I called him to pick-up an entire truck load of scrap metal. My dad had old rusted huge wrenches used to repair railroad ties (my grandfather ran a railroad repair crew), metal plates, old rusted shelving units and gardening items. It was wonderful to have it gone, gone, gone with one phone call. A valuable service. I've been recycling whatever could be recycled for 35 years now. Started out recycling the Chicago Tribune in paper grocery bags for the Boy Scout's newspaper fund raiser drive.

To answer your question about drinking room temperature water instead of cold water: I do, I've noticed that I start sweating more easily if the water is too cold. I guess the body thinks it needs to heat up when it gets hit with cold water. (Just like the bedouin nomads drink hot tea in the desert). :) I wish you a blessed day and a good start into the week. Everyone sees the biggest upside of scraping is keeping stuff out the landfill, but most beneficial part is its decreasing the raw material that needs to be minded out of the earth .

It doesn't go in the landfill if Paul doesn't grab it. The garbage trucks take everything to recycling facilities where it is sorted out

Hey Steve. I wish that was the case. But because I know the G-Men personally, I know that they drive to the landfill when their truck is full. It goes from the curb to the landfill the same day sadly.

I understand what you're talking about with smelling the ethanol in the exhaust. I could smell whether the car was burning oil, had a carburetor running too rich or was burning leaded or unleaded gas. Now, everything just smells like exhaust. So good hearing Natalie again. Is there a link to her videos/ songs? Just wondering.
