I was watching this game..That #10 was on form and he was setting up tries..Till he got hit...In Fiji if you're a good player that scores tries,You should also expect big hits from guys who just wanna get even..Even if we lose the game but make a big hit on that one guy...We feel like we've won

Sorry Joey ! Our forefathers were cannibals and that spirit of "taking people out " is latent in us and anything competitive(as in tribal wars) like rugby brings this out in us but after the game we will be all smiles and hug you and invite you to a kava session. We will even pray with you if you like. I am sure our other Pacific Island brothers will also identify with that. Some people think it is a sort of rite of passage for young man growing up in Fiji to play rugby. A few hits like that will jolt you into manhood. You just happen to be moving along that passage !!

@@toko34 no it doesn't answer my "confusion" as you call it. You base your argument on an assumption that he was ' likely expected" to play the full game. Don't assume. 61 mins is a standard time for subs. You only joined in October 2021 so go watch some more rugby games on KZfaq and maybe, based on averages, that'll answer your confusion.
