Love that Topps did this when they got the rights back! I actually met Mantle when I was 9. My dad took me to a card convention where he was signing baseballs. That ball is the prize of my collection and sits on display in my office now! Keep up the awesome content Stryker!

Crazy Mantle pull. Reminds me of the 1/1 Hank Aaron I pulled from a 2021 series 1 tin with my friends on the first day of summer break

I'm 69, saw Mantle play in person in a double header in 1965 at Yankee Stadium. If you look at his mid 1950s numbers, especially the triple crown years, he was incredible. He made about $1.2 million in salary in his career. Trout makes that in 6 games. Lord knows what he would be paid today with the numbers he had. And if it hadn't been for that hole in Yankee field he tripped on, he may have been the G.O.A.T. of baseball. In my mind he was....

My dad bought me a 52 and 55 bowman Mantle when I was 11. Still have them 37 years later. He’s my favorite player.

Mantle Mantle MANTLE!!!! Been a Mantle lover since the '70s....but only have one. It's a '67 that looks like it's been washed 17 times..... Didn't even know this set existed. Thank you Stryker for this break!!!!!

Mantel was awsome to meet. I met him when I was about 12 at a card show with my grandfather. We got a ball signed by him. I still have it and now its in my son's room.

Love this Topps dedication to Mantle. He was one of my dads favorite baseball players. Awesome pull on that 1/1. It's 1/1 I don't need to be graded but if it was it would get a PSA 9/10 or a BGS 9 9.5

Mantle was my fathers idol. Passed that over to me. Met him two times at book signings.Trying to complete set. Love your breaks.And auctions when you do them.

I'm 71 and went to my 1st game at 7 in 1957 for a doubleheader vs. the Tigers. Mantle did NOT play either game ( he must have been injurred). It was so great looking at all of his cards especially the 1 of 1. Thanks for letting us all see these great Mickey Mantle cards. Barry

Very cool product and fun product to rip. I bought a 10-pack and 20-pack. The 20-pack stays sealed; the 10-pack brought me a "1953 Topps" pinstriped numbered to 10.

I wonder if Mrs Mantle, the mother of Mickey Mantle, ever wore a Mantle? I assume so during the winter, when the ground was covered with a Mantle of snow. And I bet once Mrs Mantle's son, Mickey Mantle, started winning awards, she would place them on her Mantle.

Its awesome, I recently was given my great uncles old baseball card collection with around 1,000 cards from the 50s-60s including 7 mickey mantle cards. The best one is a 350 1960 one and its in great condition besides one knick in the corner
