Kylo is a rescue Husky who is obsessed with all of his cat fosters. Everyday like clockwork he runs to the famous blue door for his mom to open, so he can greet his babies. He’s shown just how gentle he is and how loving he is to all his kitty friends.

Please before you think about getting a husky, do your research. 1/4 of my local shelter is all owner surrendered huskies. They are a lot of responsibility.

I’ve heard that before. I didn’t get one for that reason. I wish potential pet owners would research dog breeds to find out which ones best suit them. It would decrease the number of surrendered dogs. I had my sweet Chi for 15 years. I know a Husky isn’t for me. I prefer small short haired dogs.

Absolutely, you need a lot of space & time for their energy, or else they (like a lot of other big dogs including Shepherds) get easily bored & destructive. That's one of the bigger problems - people getting those breeds then leaving them home alone all day with very little enrichment.

Mine has endless energy, I'm sure some are easier than others , but I totally agree do your homework they are unbelievable but and it's a big but they need stimulation, Mine comes everywhere with me he comes to work he has between 2 and 4 hours of exercise made up of loads of different kinds of interesting activities, he has a day out at least one day a week , they can be extremely difficult off lead Mine has a very high prey drive , I can let him off lead in fields but not in forests and woodland , I'm lucky he loves to swim so in summer we loads of swimming ,'they are absolutely amazing but please please think before you have one it does so much damage to a dog to end up in shelters

It's funny because my husband & I had 4 Huskies. We wanted a cat because we lived in the country & started getting mice inside. We'd heard Huskies weren't good with cats, too, but we never had an issue & got another cat!! Since then I've had 2 more Huskies, separately, & always had a cat or two. NEVER an issue.

Judging by the cats as they come out the door Kylo is not the only one that is happy. Cats that rub on each other, you or animals thats a sign of acceptance. To them hes probably just a very odd looking cat!

I have two grand-fluffs, my daughters husky and her little cat. In all of my years, I've never seen a dog and cat get along like these two - they play together, sleep together, and to my astonishment, eat together. Watching the husky encourage the cat to eat out of his dog bowl has, over the years, ended up with the cat being a bit of a chonker 😁

That's the funny thing about cats and kittens especially if they want to give you attention they will whether you want them too or not. So not surprised these kitties said this is a giant fluffer must be a big version of us but he needs to smell like us first so we must jump on him first.

My goodness,Kylo ❤has such a wonderful nature and is a perfect treasure . What fortunate kittens not to speak of yourself you kind soul ! How on earth can you even consider letting him go ! Fostering is such a good thing to do ,but oh my goodness the heartbreak built into it along with the satisfaction of taking it on for the sake of your little protégées.

He IS special! We have a lovely husky who’s always been around cats but grown ones. We tried to add a kitten and even slowly and carefully… he still thought kitten was a toy or food so we had to return the baby. But…. he and our adult cat tolerate each other. Kylo is such a sweetie! 🥰💜

Huskies arent good with Cats in General. But as sure as we Humans, every Animal got an unique Mindset, and its an great Sight , how His gentle Heart is rewarded with this little Furballs just loving Him as he comes, and so he got an social Interaction and comfort he would never had otherwise. He holds still, not even tail wagging, which confused me at first. Dogs have a prey drive, when something small runs, sometimes, they just have to chase. So glad you were safe with all of them!

I understand your reluctance on introducing a husky buddy to kitties. My Husky has killed so many wild animals, I've tried to stop him. It doesn't work. Your bud seems super chill and friendly. My bud tried to clamp on my brother's neck. Maybe he is a special dog.

Dogs and cats have a tendency towards proving us humans completely wrong at times with certain things that we believe. I thought similar for a long time and I don’t now. I love dogs and cats!
