In today's video, I'm building a new magic headquarters which I also decided to make into a spellcaster school!

Fun fact: Alchemists were ancient scientists who tried to turn led into gold and to create ways to become immortal. They never reached their goal, but in their efforts the chemical element phosphorus was discovered!

@@sleeplessobsidian5521 Sort of - they actually use Bismuth which is right next to Lead (atomic number 83 vs 82) in the Periodic Table but requires just a little less use of energy for the experiment, is far more stable, as well as the benefit of NOT being toxic. Interestingly the man behind the 1980 experiment also worked on the Manhattan Project - creating the nuclear bomb - and also discovered a whole bunch of new elements. Unfortunately although his experiment was a success, it also proved just _how difficult_ and _expensive_ the process was, and how much energy was required ... for what amounted to basically a few handfuls of gold atoms. So it's never going to be a process commonly done and definitely not for any kind of profit (to even produce an ounce of gold you'd need a dollar investment in the quadrillions!).

I loooove the idea! There are so many high schools and universities, having a spell caster school is really unique! Totally agree with you that the Magic Realm has a lot of potential but is a little underwhelming, but if it all following your build, it would have been that much more magical! 😍

I always catch myself thinking when I watch your builds "This is exactly how I want to build" and "This is the perfect game play for me". I don't know how you do it but your builds are so similar to my personal view of PERFECTION. Every detail and just the styles/genres of builds, ahhhh. Basically, I think you're the best builder ever. Keep doing what you're good at because you sure do have heaps of talent and skill!

Occult sims aren’t really my thing usually but this build has definitely made me want to finally do a play through with witch/wizard sims, love it!!! So many beautiful elements through the build wow

here’s my theory of why all magic type schools/buildings with witches and stuff are old fashioned: they were built in the 1600s during all of the witch trials by all of the “witches” so that they could all have a safe place to stay and learn about their magic (elsa vibes).

I LOVE this idea too! Now I want to take my witches there full-time. The world they made is so awesome it was so disappointing to play it only to realize how empty it actually was. You did this just in time for Halloween too! Yay! I'm putting this in my game asap.

this is so beautiful!!! the little greenhouse room actually worked really well, too. beautiful idea. i would have maybe put the greenhouse on the top level and finished it with like a domed glass ceiling and windows everywhere but ughhh. i literally could not see myself changing a single aspect of this build

After playing Sims 4 for almost 2 years...I still consider myself a newbie, I was getting every other pack and kit except Star wars, Strangerville, and this one and I'm so in love with the Realm of Magic. Being an HP fan, you would've thought I would jump on this, but I can't wait to use this instead. You got skills girl!!!

This is absolutely stunning and I will definitely be replacing the Magic HQ in my game with it. I absolutely love Spellcaster Sims but most of my Sims end up as great potion makers because you can do so much with them. Also, every time I play the 100 baby challenge, I am grateful for cauldrons because the food never spoils if left in them and when you have that many kids, you need a lot of food.

I am so blown away by this build. You should totally build something for an official EA Sims expansion pack in the future. I would love for that to happen for you. When you built the island in the kitchen do you use counters or the island counters. I'm having trouble getting the parts of my island to all fit together without any gaps

It really makes me want to do my own gameplay of like a school of the gifted kind of like Xavier and his x men or like the witches from AHS but actually have like a young adult and two teens in each ''group'' and have the young adults as mentors and an adult as like the head! Watching this build really makes me want to explore this exp pack because like you said the actual world once you've bought stuff is quite boring and I think what youve done here is given us what we would have expected to be in this pack to begin with! loved watching this with a cuppa!

This build idea is really cool and you really get across a wizard/fark academia vibe! Makes me actually want to buy realm of magic. I have one small suggestion for your videos - I've noticed you use the same background music for all your videos, and I know it can be super hard to get good royalty free music but it might help because if anyone binge watches your videos like me, it can get a little repetitive. I love all your videos though 💞

Picturing a cauldron sized serving of Mac and cheese is one of the most hillarious mental images to me! XD And to have it served in what you would expect to be a high edicate school is funnier still. On a different note, usually I want to be the one to build all the stuff like this in my personal worlds, but your building of this school is so well done and creative I would want to download it for myself! So I've gotta legacy family that the mom and daughter go here! They're working for stay kinda thing. Oh I love this lot! Going to actually download one of your spellcaster homes, I had it saved for when I finally decided to try out spellcasters. With your build and mods I'm enjoying it so much haha 😄 ❤️ This build is soo fun! I did however spend like 2 days there and like 5 sims got stuck in a silly spot. I just loaded into a different lot and came back lat er haha but it was funny 😅

Hi! I love your builds as this one is so impressive as usual! I've been playing in this one and I just wanted to let you know I've noticed a couple of bugs in case you're not aware of them. The shower on the floor with the kitchen can't be accessed (not sure why as I've used the shower upstairs which seems to be the same formation and it works fine). Also near the entrance to the left, if you play for awhile sims seem to gather in the bushes right next to the building, they seem to be trapped as they'll stay there stinking for ages. Sometimes I wonder why it feels a bit empty and I look there and there's like 6 all crowded there 😂 I don't know if that's just in my game but worth looking into if you have the time ☺️

Alchemist is pronounced AL-kem-ist and the term originally was applied to "scientists" who tried to concoct ways to turn lead into gold via chemical processes. Over time, the meaning became applied in other ways, both derogatory as well as flattering. As the scope of human knowledge about atomic theory and chemistry grew, we recognized that gold and lead are both elements and, as such, are in themselves immutable, so it's always been impossible to turn lead into gold. So an alchemist can be someone who denies the laws of physics thru stubbornness or ignorance or embraces as possible that which others view as blatantly impossible. Conversely, the alchemists of centuries ago made many important discoveries regarding how various metals and chemicals combine and react with each other, which seemed like "magic" at the time, so nowadays the word can also be used to describe anyone who creates something wonderful from a seemingly unusual array of items, such as new food recipes, new art forms, etc.

I’ve never wanted to buy this pack until now! I wish when that happened we could use like an affiliate code or something so you’d get part of that credit - since the Sims team didn’t inspire me enough but 12 mins into your video I’m absolutely dying to play in this build now.

This is lovely! I never liked the original build, nor the other builds in Glimmerbrook for that matter. But this is just stunning. Thank you so much! Aren't your sims going nuts over all the books laying around and try to put them away? Because that is what my Sims always do when they are in a build with random books laying around as decor haha. One last thing, your builds always show us that CC is not always necessary to make beautiful builds!

@@Jessicapie also, you can use the mod that let's you pick the students and the teachers that go to the school to be all spellcasters, with outfit authority you can pick their school uniforms too!! Like....the POSSIBILITIES. 🤯 It's pretty much settled, I'm going to Magic School now y'all. 🪄🔮

this build is stunning! makes me want the sims 4 even more now so i can do my building ideas 😭 keep up with the great work! im gonna "fix" up my....ig sad reality?, with a funny observation so i don't have to think about that: i find it interesting that it took me like 8 min to finally realize that i've watched this video before when you started to place down the candles at 9:23 throughout that 8 min, when you started to do the paths and putting down the arches and landscaping, i was like "i somewhat recognize this....must be similar to some other build i've watched a year ago, great minds think alike situation idk"...... i am..... still recovering from taking regents, yea, that's my excuse from my stupidity, i'm still recovering braincells from tests 🗿

You should write your own book! With your sims backstories there is so much detail and I just finished watching your brdgenton family home build with the grandmother and her son & grandchildren and I thought that’d be such a good novel! Now, about this build: INCREDIBLE! it’s not a Hogwarts copy cat, it’s unique and beautiful with your own touch 💖💖 you’re so imaginative and creative! Are you an interior designer/landscaper? Finally, you MUST read the Harry Potter books if you haven’t read them. The movies are fine but the books are sooooo much better! They left out so much in the films! I’m listening to the audio books by Stephen fry and it’s so awesome the way he does different accents it’s rlly cool! I’ve also got the illustrated versions of the books I recommend you have a look at those they are so beautiful and really add to the magic of the books. Anyway I’ll stop rambling about Harry Potter haha 😂 As always, an amazing build by a beautiful KZfaqr/simmer/builder!

When you are placing items on eg a shelf or cabinet, what is it that you're doing with the red square thing? You place it on there then move it over to where it needs to go. Love this build xxx
