Me and my dad just bought 45 acres that we just saved from the longer if we didn't buy it they were going to log it we're going to build two houses on it and keep it preserved and build a farm market in the front where we can grow a few things ✌️

@Fred Garvin Fred Garvin, I do agree that the tourist traffic is horrible... a matter of fact I got into it on Evans Notch with a cpl of car loads of Connecticut jerks, on the way up to Pittsburg. And it's only gonna get worse, but screw those types! I have been going to my camp for 35 years and I'm not gonna let conn, RI, NY, and NJ tourists ruin my time...

Yes, I was getting sick of the heat. Hopefully this nice weather is here to stay for a while. We are working this weekend and won't be back out on the rivers for another week or so.

August 25 out in the PNW was 110 degrees and a lot of places you couldnt get into due to wild fires i saw some bedrock look for cracks in the rocks clean the gravel out of cracks you will find trapped gold which is usually bigger

We do crevesing when we can. I usually use my metal detector when I do. I don't do it often because the odds of finding anything decrease even though when I do find some it's bigger. I learned I can find more gold over a full season just digging rather than crevesing so I tend to dig more. Bee groovy.

I have Herkimer diamonds, I used to go to NY and mine them. Also have amethyst from deer hill, and tourmaline from Maine. And got to see those nuggets when I went there and got skunked like you in the river lol.

Looks like you boy's are piconking up viewers. Went down by Coos canyon back in 2018. The day before I tired to drive up to the Maglorary river north on the NH Maine border. Got stoped about 20 miles up on a logging rd. Culvert washed out had to turn around and settle for Rangley state park campground. Did not stop at Rossie's next time I'm stopping in. That chicken looked wicked good. Love to Show up to your camp at dinner time. The Hip Bee needs some Pit Vipers sun glasses. Another great video. Peace

The shovel is a Martin Prospecting shovel. Home depot and possibly Lowes have Box shovels for around $40.00 dollars, looks to be slightly narrower that what you have. It appears they do not make them anymore. Supposedly Summit Mining has just the head no handle but could not find their website, maybe on Facebook..
