Mid March me and my partner travelled to Manchester and Leeds to visit their Forbidden Planet International and Travelling Man stores to buy as much manga as we could!

I LOVE In the Name of the Mermaid Princess. Mio has such great character development and the Romance is amazing as well.

I agree with you completely about Ima Koi. I'll likely be unhauling it too. I hope you enjoy Snow White with Red Hair. It felt slightly slow to me, but then it really started to grow on me. I'm still enjoying it 9 volumes in (i have more volumes but i haven't gotten to them yet since as you know i'm focusing on reading manhwa this month).

I also heard that Snow White with the red hair was slower/heavy reading and that it dipped off in places so I think that’s why I’ve put it off so far

Hatsu*haru by fujisawa shizuki is a bit underrated, but one of my old favorites. It’s main focus on romance of 4 main couples among group of friends. But why I love it is because of touching slice-of-life theme. Delicately portrayed, it talks about family issues and adolescence. The mangaka has many other works, one of the ongoing one, “yuzuki family’s four brothers” is another solid one. No English translation, but I highly recommend to watch the anime. Simple and realistic.

I read Run away with me girl straight away and I really liked it. The story wasn’t quite what I expected but in a good way. Loved the art style too it was different to what I’m used to. Definitely interested in shojo light novel recs please 🙏🏻 (I have vol 1 of My Happy Marriage)

@@dragonballzowie Hurray! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully we'll get her other works in english someday too :) She definelty has a specific art style, I especially love the way she draws eyes!! Oh nice! The My Happy Marriage light novel is great but I really really reccomend the "Sugar Apple Fairy Tale" light novels. Don't be fooled by its title, it's definetly not childish. It's a great slow burn romance with some amazing world building and it just has my heart (and if it helps at all it's on the slim side like the MHM light novel you have 😊)
