I'm from Ohio in the United States. I like how your Aldi Special Buys are in those bins instead of ours being on shelves with very limited quantities. The shelves always seem messy here. What you call butternut pumpkin, we call butternut squash here in the states.

@@ItsErinLong well my theory is don't go on special buy days or the night before them as they are too busy moving all that stuff around to stock the shelves sometimes. So either Thursday or early Tuesday and Friday as we've ruled out Monday 🤣should it be this complicated?!?!

I am time rich ,so make everything from scratch ,I dehydrate, and can anything I find on a great special. Things are more expensive when we need to buy premade foods. I only get cheese in 1kg blocks and slice and grate it myself to save money.

How do you plan what to buy (and cook) for a whole month?

I’m just about to upload another video and I show how I meal plan, super simple just pick a variety of meals I know my family eat and love along with a few new ones each month. I check my pantry and freezer and fridge while I’m doing this so I can use what I have first - it takes some getting used to but it’s actually pretty easy and makes life easier throughout the month so I don’t have to think about what to cook each day.

Yes family of 4, it’s hard to tell as I obviously freeze some things and I have a pantry stock which I add this stuff to… it’s lasted me the last 3 weeks and still have some stocks left - sorry not helpful? I have also been back to the shop to get milk, bread, some fruit and veg

That’s a lot of sport for your kids My brother in law done heaps of sport and stuff he Knees up in he’s 40s Just had a opt on he’s bad knee now 57 So long wait for the opt Kids also find it way to busy to add to many Just saying Listen to them if they find it just to busy with school as well
