This is the first time I heard he wanted 500k/week, and I'm surprised FSG were willing to go to 400k. Salah has been great, but nobody is completely irreplaceable. I believe Mane earns $100k/week, so guess who'll be knocking down the door next?

I'm a huge fan of Salah and i really want him to stay but if £400a week is not enough for him we should let him go. We can't satisfy Salah to dissatisfy other players who are equally important to us.

400k for Salah would be too high still if u ask me with Liverpool's wage structure. That's 60M over 3 years. I would have bought 2 Right wingers instead with that money. £400,000 a week. This is ridulous. I've always said pay them on a performance only basis. If they win games give them a % breakdown of the amount of games they were involved in. As football is now a business, run it like one. What business pays people if they don't perform. LFC earn a certain amount each year from TV, sponsorship, attendance gates and winning things - this should then be used to pay players, managers, staff etc, To me it is done all back-to-front. To want to be paid the most because you think you are the best footballer in the world is arrogant. Didn't LFC have this issue with Sterling? Greedy people produce a bad vibe in a club.
