you wanna know why this article isn't anywhere.....because it's so ludicrous of an idea that Montreal would give up this much assets under current management for one player that isn't over 100pt per year guy. If you told me it was Draisaitl or Rantanan I'd be all for it, but this trade idea is stupid.

Necas is a 100 point player on 26 other teams. He’s not for the canes, because he doesn’t play on the power play, doesn’t take faceoffs, and doesn’t kill penalties. He doesn’t dig in the way Rod wants, so he doesn’t get the ice time. He really doesn’t fit the system. But whoever gets him, is getting an absolute freak offensively. Defensively, woof.

Struggle and Harris are movable. Beck, I would like to stay. Likely, a very good 3 C. Anderson can go try to find his game. But Necas. No deal.

I can't believe i'm responding to this nonsense but I have to. Has anyone noticed that Necas is not even averaging 20 goals a season and as recently as 21-22 he only had 14 goals. Yes the past 2 seasons he's had 28 and 24 but that's not enough to mortgage the house and that's with a team decidedly better than the Habs. Hell put Anderson on a line with Dach and whoever and he could accomplish those numbers.
