▶︎▶︎ Yuki Tsunoda’s future has been discussed yet again by Honda, and it seems like the Japanese manufacturer won’t be satisfied with seeing the young driver fight for scrap points and in the midfield of the grid. However, with their new partnership with Aston Martin and the complicated relationship that is going on with the second seat next to Alonso due to the nepotistic factor of Lawrence and Lance, is there any chance that we’ll see Tsunoda race for a top-team, and more importantly, can Honda make Aston Martin a championship contender so that they could influence the decision of who’ll be Alonso’s teammate?

Its wild how good Aston would be with Yuki instead of Stroll. But daddy made the team for his son and wont ever take his son out of the sport unless he sells Aston.

The number of people that still believes these KZfaq channels that claim this will happen is ridiculous Honda President Koji Watanabe admitted they can't force Aston Martin to hire a driver of their choice, he said last April , and again this week , They can't promise him a seat , only Lawrence Stroll has that power , he's not looking to sell , they just keep making videos almost weekly , if Lawrence Stroll doesn't say it , its not happening

I think sainz is a good idea for now. They should get sainz in for next year and once alonso retires in 2026, Yuki can replace him.

What...lance is an amazing driver....In his first Five races he won all Five...granted that was 2008 and in Karting. Somebody has to kick lance out of F1

Here after Miami and sadly as long as Lawrence is the owner I don't see Tsunoda going to AM. Tsunoda is my favorite driver and the only thing I don't like about him driving for AM is the color green 😂😂

I think the only current driver on the grid that would not out perform Lance is Logan. It should only be a,matter of time before Lawrence or his backers or Aramco realize how much money they are losing by having Lance in the seat. Either by having to pay to fix all the damage or the lost prize money.

I agree that stroll isn't very good, but I honestly dont know if it will matter so long as his dad holds firm. I suppose it depends on how serious honda is, how serious lawrence is about saving strolls spot, and how a committed stroll is to staying in f1. * spelling edits

Unfortunately it appears that Lance has a drive for life as his father owns Aston Martin This fact is so unfair as Alsono is awesome driver just imagine if the second seat was given to decent driver

He would make a welcome addition to Aston Martin but only as the number 2 driver. I like Yuki but he isn't very marketable in general. This may change as he gets more and more comfortable and grows into the man he maybe become but at the moment while he isn't unlikable, he just isn't broadly something, it's just missing at present. Now that Daniel is finally comfortable in the RB I think the whole Yuki deal is likely to end with Lawson replacing him. I think he's in that seat because of Honda not on merrit, Lawson out drove him last year for the most part, and really should have been in that seat this year.

Lawson didn't out drive him. Yuki was way ahead if Lawson on race pace and qualifying, and suffered a DNS and DNF during their five races together, skewing results in Lawson's favour. Of the three races they actually both finished, Yuki finished ahead of Lawson twice, and the one time he didn't he was right behind Lawson.

wrong man, Yuki may not be popular in Europe, but has a huge fan base in Asia. Asians also love all the premium products that F1 is advertising.

Okay....so if not other top teams would have him, why would it need to be Aston? He's had a few good races recently. Stroll has had some high points as well recently, going back to the end of last year. So Stroll has had an up and down start to the season. It's dizzying to hear people go back and forth and Stroll because he goes up and down. Yuki goes up and down as well...but when he's nowhere, nobody cares because he's in the midfield/backfield. Stroll has far more pressure, so it's always noticed.

It would be Aston, because Honda will supply Aston's engines and Honda has a vested interest in Yuki. Yuki is not the best, but he's a lot better than Lance.

he's outqualifying and outscoring Lance in an Alpha tauri.

@caterinavega4228 he also outscored Alonso and outqualied him in miami. So he should replace Alonso too? Both Astons were killed in the sprint. And Lance was screwed with the timing of the SC in Sunday's race. With such a tight field, that really matters.

@@ErickMcNerney No wonder your analysis is so wrong, you look at the small picture, just one race. If you pull your head out of your ass and look at the season so far, Yuki has out qualified stroll in 6 out of 8 times this year, and beaten him in the race also 6 out of 8 times, and is ahead of him the WDC despite being in a worse car.

@caterinavega4228 yeah but Yuki is not far behind Alonso then either. The Astons have been taking a step back lately. They are not faster at the moment. That's the bigger picture. And this race, Stroll got screwed by SC. We need to compare apples to apples, and this weekend Lance has been stronger than Alonso all weekend until the strat killed his full race. So it makes no sense. And during the sprint Lance yet again outqualied Alonso, but got taken out by Hamilton.

Aston Martin has always been one of my favourite teams, having Vettel and then Alonso is awesome. But its so hard to support them as long as Stroll is there. I've been saying for years that hes got to go. I would genuinly prefer Logan over Lance, hes at least got some time to maybe improve, Lance has been shit for years.

lance f1 debut was in 2017 and yuki f1 debut was in 2021, with the car that aston built and a 6+ years of experience lance is definitely not showing promising results

You saw the race's, Yuki is consistent with the pace 12 to 9 place always, not like Lance who live in the wall or in the back with wiliams and Aston is a better car look Alonso.

It coz you are a Netflix F1 viewer. You don’t look at all the stats, progression etc but rather “what you see”. Yuki in a far less performing engine, with less funding has not only out driven his current team mate,but also out driven stroll in points. Let’s add the fact yuki is 22 years old. Factor in yuki could not speak not 1 word of English and has to use English to committing races. Yuki debuted F1 literally after covid, stroll kid been around a while now. Should I continue???
