Welcome to my review of the Paragon Candyland Collection! I just had to do a full review for these because I am obsessed with the fun colors! I love brights or pastels, so this is right up my alley. This launch features a new fabric to me, the ultralux, and a return favorite the recstretch sculpt seam plus which are SO flattering on the glutes!

i really wish the fabric was thicker. i think the colors are so cute but there's no way i'd wear any of the bottoms even with shirts that would go over the butt

Love the ultralux fabric! Definately not as stretchy, so I may need to size up. The ultralux fabric is sooo smoothing!

Can you compare nubre / butter / energy / elysium / perform buffbunny fabrics and bare / sierra / cassey ptula with recstretch and ultralux? 👀 also sizing for both compared to those leggings?

None of them are really that close. Recstretch is like butter and perform combined but still thinner! Ultalux is like nubre/sierra but not as stretchy or as brushed- ptula and Buffbunny have much better brushed fabrics

I ordered the wild collection and my first paragon purchase and the leggings were so thin and awful they kept falling down on me while I was on the elliptical. I don't know what fabric those came in, but I'll never buy it again. I have them in their bag waiting to be sent back if I ever get time for that. If not they will get donated.

That collection used the Reluna fabric, which is their softer/ less compressive fabric. I’m not a fan of Reluna, but I love their Recstretch fabric.

I got a pair of recstretch from the launch before this and I’d definitely say they’re more like athletic tights, they ended up pilling in my spin class, so ultimately just not durable enough for me.

how does the compression of recstretch compare to the aerie flares? I’m a small in the aerie but these are not compressive at all so idk if i should go for a small or medium fro the recstretch su not seam plus😅

If you have a moment, could you give any insights on how the new Paragon sculpt seam plus recstretch leggings compare to the Kamo Fitness Featherlite leggings? I see that the scrunch is different but what about the fabric and overall fit?

I own both, so here are my thoughts! BTW I have the DesB collab RecStretch Sculptseam Plus version, which in that specific version the waistband ran much tighter/more compressive. Overall, I prefer the Kamo fitness featherlite. It has an elastic in the back that (for me) works just as well as Paragon's to separate the glutes. The featherlite fabric is more brushed and thicker than the Recstretch. Recstretch is more sleek to the touch and thin. The Paragon leggings have more vertical stretch, and the waistband is much higher than featherlite. I wish the featherlite waistband was a bit higher, but I'm also tall. The featherlite run about maybe a half size smaller than the Serenity leggings if you're familiar with them, which fits me a bit better. They're both good leggings, but I prefer the Kamo!

I love love love the colors and designs, just wishing the execution was better. I tried the RecStretch Sculptseam Plus leggings and the waistband slid down terribly just going about my day. Both the Reluna and RecStretch shorts rolled up so much they were uncomfortable and I spent the entire time pulling them down. They really need a longer inseam. And the bramis from Prism ran too small. I really wanted to love Paragon, but hopefully we'll see more improvements in the future!

I wonder about that elastic scrunch on this brand. I have bought leggings from other brands and after a while the elastic stretches out and looks awful. I can’t wear them in public. Makes me wonder if over time the paragon j leggings scrunch will do the same. Please report back on a few years I’d love to know how they hold out 😊

Kamo featherlite are more similar to the ultralux curve contour- but the kamo fabric is stretchier and stays up better! Recstretch is much thinner and sleek feeling

RecStretch is hands down the worst quality material IMO. Snag city on first workout and wasn’t even doing any mat work either. I went from super excited to super bummed.
