Absolutely amazing is all we can say!!! These humongous stud plants are not the easiest to grow, however Frank Smith of Krull Smith makes it look easy! Look at the size of those plants and blooms!!!

Hay there! I believe I was gifted one like these. Came in a orchid clay pot. It seems to want to “climb” out and droop down. Should I mount it and let it hang down, upside down?

Wow!!! I've never seen such humangus phallenopsis. Is it a different breed from the ones we. normally see everyday ? I sure like to try to have one just to see if I can keep and take care of one.

I don't see the difference in the flowers. So cool to see adult plants like that hanging around.

Holy crap those are gigantic! Maintaining that root system must be a nightmare! They're gorgeous though. Definitely going to be a customer of this nursery soon. Off-topic question: My aerides and several vanda flower spikes seem to have suddenly developed a sugary, sticky substance covering the whole spike. It's not just a few drops here and there but the things look like they've been dipped in a clear type of honey. I noticed this when ants started randomly showing up in my shade house in droves and seemed to be really attracted to specifically the flower spikes of my plants. I managed to keep the ant problem under control without using any pesticides. Is this clear sticky substance common? Anything to worry about (other than the pests)? Am I doing something wrong with the feeding/watering regimen (weakly/weekly)? As always, love your content. Huge influence on my own collection/care.

Nothing to worry about the nectar effusion on flower spikes. It shows your plants are healthy. Ants wont damage the buds and let them have their feast!
