I just love the way that Abbie very slowly and gently plays with Summer’s hair. It’s almost like “if I do it sneakily she won’t notice”. She was very good today sitting with you all although I’m sure there were a few outtakes during editing. Abbie is a credit to you as a family, Summer and all her therapists and teachers but most of all she is a credit to herself and how hard she works.

Awww, dat smile though. I can think of so many memes, like "I just want somebody to smile at me the way Abbie smiles at Cinnamon Toast Crunch". I love mail time. And your family (Summer included) of course. I've got a few students Abbie's age ("neurotypical", at least for a teenager) who are super into slime, foam squishie toys and the like. They make scented foam squishies as well as scented plush toys. I don't know if there's a particular cinnamon toast crunch scent out there, but I know there are cinnamon scented toys out there. Do you think Abbie would like one of those to stim and/or chill with?

My favorite animal has always been giraffes. Because of that people get me WAY too much giraffe stuff over the holidays. Last year I finally said something about it and everyone laughed like they didn't think I meant it. So I think I'll still get giraffe stuff, I guess that's cool.

middleC17 I have an aunt that keeps her love of bunnies silent just so ppl don't get her bunny things...she only likes bunny things that she has picked out herself and she would seriously dislike or even toss stuff ppl got her. I found out one year but was strictly forbidden to ever get her anything bunny. So I just don't get her anything at all...that makes it easy!

livslovelylife you collect them off specific products you buy then turn them in and ten cents each goes to your school....the school can spend them on a special project or most frequently on school supplies. It's a small amount but it can add up especially when you collect from all over!

Okay I've got to ask. What are box tops and what are their purpose? I think all this goes to show how loved your family are. My kids and I are going to pick out a few things for y'all. Bear in mind one is 3 and the other is 10 so it could be a little bit of a odd mix of things but I like to give them freedom to select items from their hearts.

You collect them from specific products and the school gets ten cents per box top to spend on a special project or mostly they are used to buy school supplies. Ten cents is a small number but it adds up especially when you collect from all over! You could check out the list of brands on the website, maybe you buy an imported product that has the box top logo on it! I mostly get them from Ziplock bags.

_Shell_ interesting their school JSA has about $150 collected for this year per the box top website but that will go way up when school starts back up again (coming soon)...people will turn in all the ones they collected from over the summer. Looks like they have a $1000 goal for the year. Just imagine $150 is already 1500 box tops...although some packages have bonus tops so they might be worth several on one box....
