I agree. Your play seemed pretty tight at times. The check when you had top pair (kings) and let opponent hit 2 pair on river.. I know you cant be results oriented but is that the right play? Board was K, 6, 2, 4 at that point. Than the hand where you had 9's. Sure your opponent could have a set but I'm sure you dont play every hand thinking they hit a set on the flop.

BRAD...THANKS FOR MAKING POKER FUN AGAIN!!! Had a rough night two nights ago... table mate looked over at my once HUGE, now diminutive stack and asked, "What Happened"? I borrowed one of Brad's lines: "I GUESS I JUST HATE MONEY".... That line didn't help increase my stack, but made me laugh inwardly and took me off tilt so as to make a mild comeback... Brad, Thanks again for sharing your foilables and enabling us to laugh at ourselves for doing dumb shit. Please let your fans on the east coast know when you and Busi's BFF will be out this way!!!

Yo Brad my dude how are things out west??? Hey bro just wanted to say that even though you played the 1 hand a lil sketchy, your humbleness to show the mistakes as well as the made hands I think is what really helps on the vlog. Mainly though your higher stakes game play has definitely improved buddy. Thanks for the vlogs and keep the cards in the air.

Hey brad! I’ve been watching and enjoying your vlog for a few years, I’ve really enjoyed the content and commentary! I’ve advanced my bluff and knowing when I have to sigh call (top of range based on way hand played out) game quite a lot by applying some of your insights. This has really helped in the 3/5 and 5/5 games as I’m no longer getting bluffed into on the river quite As much, always a plus:) It would be really cool to do a meetup game in LA or in Ventura? Ventura (about an hour north on 101 from LA) they usually have anywhere from 10-15 tables going (2/3 (300max runs constantly) or 3/5 (300-1000 1-2tables normally) Ventura room also runs a great 5/5 PLO/BIG0 300-match the largest stack max (2-10k) ) runs mon through Friday and 2/3 plo/bigo “bingo” (500max) runs sometimes on weekends. I know they normally have 5-6 empty tables (with free dealers to deal) plus tournament tables in back (still same quality gaming table ++) players casino is legit; I know a few of the board people plus the management and they’d probably be willing to throw in free drinks and lunch as they’d be able to draw a crowd for something like that. Let me know! Thanks for the poker knowledge and representing the community! Your work is appreciated! Sincerely, Jesse Mastergrillcleaners@gmail.com Can reach me there (business I run and own in Santa Barbara, good story behind it!)

Hey Brad, very nice point of view from a person actually INVOLVED in a hand that you don't know what the other 'players have', the way most of these 'poker exerts' do, knowing what to do because they KNOW the hole cards of all the player at the table. Good luck, but as I think you already know, it's all a guessing game. Just too dangerous to rely on luck if you can't afford to lose.

Brad, I was listening to Poker in the Ears Podcast and your interview about your vlog. So I had to check your vlog out for myself. After watching the first couple of episodes I realized that I really enjoyed your approach to poker. Found myself hooked and I just finished binge watching all 91 vlogs since you’ve been on Poker in the Ears. I love to absorb all the poker information I can get and you do an excellent job analyzing your hands, ranges, bet sizes, etc. I’m mostly a tournament player, but still like the applications of cash game players strategies to poker tournaments. Do you have any suggestions to amazing poker tournament vloggers?

Brad - not sure if you will get this or not but I had a couple questions for you. On the last hand, the turn was a 3 of spades and you said it wasnt a good card to come up. I thought it was pretty good because if the other player had like A4 spades they made a smaller straight and had outs on a flush then it might induce a call, right? And my second question is do you set yourself a time limit when playing in cash games or is it based on how your're playing? Curious to know your answer on this. Thanks - Dan

Brad, I know this question has many answers based on the cards you're getting dealt. That being said, how many hands do you play per hour. You record a handful of interesting hands on your vlog. I'm a grinder trying to step it up to the next level. Lately I'm running bad and making stupid choices out of frustration. Trying to play premium hands in position. Getting sucked out on is part of the game. Just seems like I'm getting my share of suck outs!

You are 1 those people that you just can't help but like. That's a very good compliment. Sorry about those bad beats. It happens. When my gut feeling tells me to cool off and I keep playing,I generally lose and hit bad runs. I noticed you bluffed more than I ever saw you lol! Nice mix up as if I were playing versus you,I generally read you betting w a strong hand. I play alot like your plays, except I would had play the A5,seen at least 1 more card on AK first hand, and gave up when you attempted bluff versus those lucky pocket 10s. Great playing man! I honestly really enjoy your vlogs. Best wishes and take care!

Went to the casino (specifically for poker for the first time) and played for over an hour and not a single playable hand. Not trying to go pro and pay for online coaching (although I respect the sponsor for one of my favorite channels) what do you suggest. Try again maybe not at a 3/5 table? Not sure what I did wrong here. Just a rookie trying to get my footing.

1. Man, I remember walking past you in that game at the Peppermill and thinking, "Whoa, ol' Brad has put on his big girl pants and he's mixing it up with the local crushers." I hope that the ultimate outcome was better than the $1300 you got stuck in the last session. 2. Bomb pots. I know you guys love them, but I think they're awful. They basically tilt everybody's session results to how well they do in a bomb pot. I'll probably write more about that elsewhere, but I wish you'd rethink them. At the least, make the initial ante 2-3 big blinds rather than five (or 10, as you did in that $5-10 game). As an example, suppose you're playing $2-5 and everybody at the table agrees to do a $25 bomb pot. Well, there's $200-$225 in the pot before the cards are dealt. A perfectly healthy 200 bb $1k stack now has an SPR of 5. It's far too easy for stacks to get in, for almost random reasons, because 8-9 random hands saw the flop. Another mitigating option would be double board, which likely divides the wealth in half. If I wanted this kind of insane "let's shove the flop and see how it goes" I'd play PLO. Or worse, t*urn*m*nts.

Your newest video went down when I was halfway through it. What is up Brad? Unhappy with the reaction to the excluded hand? Hmm

actually got to see a MASSIVE pot played at the Peppermill some years ago.. 2013 maybe?? tens of thousands of $$ in everybodys stacks.. watched one hand while drooling, as 3 players were going at it. i looked at the board, and loved that i "called" what EVERYONE had.. by the betting.. one guy had the nut flush, one guy, a full house, and one guy quads.. must of been close to $100k shoved into the middle, as they went nuts on the river betting.. incredible and incredibly fun/spine tingling to watch, and a bit chilling, as it looked like the nut flush guy Didnt really have the bankroll ( or maybe the constitution ) to lose THAT much in one hand.. which was everything he had..

How do you remember all the moves and hands so well? Who everyone was, what they did, etc? That's impressive.

Hey Brad. I’m always out of town when you come to Austin. I live 10 minutes from Texas Card House. Anyways. I have a question. When did you and why did you consider yourself as a professional? Not a cut, but a serious question.
