Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay doesn’t mind stirring up a bit of controversy, and he is never afraid to yell at chefs whose cooking does not meet his very high standards. However, the chef has had some scandals over the years that he would definitely like to take back, and he seems to continue to land in hot water over and over again. From all of the accusations that Kitchen Nightmares was staged to the inappropriate comments he made to Sofia Vergara when they appeared on The Tonight Show together, let’s take a look at some huge scandals that will always haunt Gordon Ramsay.

how are these scandals? and some aren't even warranted: 1. When you're drunk and young you do stupid things. Horsing around naked? That's common in all colleges. 2. A woman who calls herself a "professional mistress?" needs professional help. 3. Frozen food at one of his restaurants? I'm not sure if that counts if its just a chain of his. I would blame the manager on that. Furthermore, prep versus frozen food from the store is not the same. 4. Why does it matter how he wants his Mansion? It's his money. Mind your own business. 5. Cultural appropriation? Why because he's white and starting an asian restaurant. I'm Asian and this one doesn't make sense. Chipotle Owner is white, should he be accused too? 6. The judge didn't rule against chef ramsey. If you watched that episode you would know that that owner has issues. I wouldn't trust him unless there was more proof of other restaurant owners saying that. 7. Okay this one i agree with. 8. Chef Ramsey cussing not being censored has to deal more with the broadcasting not censoring him. 9. What? Chef Ramsey was born in Scotland, but raised in England. He probably doesn't even remember that one year of his baby life. This one is not a scandal. 10. Sounds like that statement was plugged just to get extra publicity for his book. Think about it, why would chef ramsay randomly call this guy up to say he's upset. Does he benefit from a young new chef? Or would that young new chef benefit more by putting false statements in a book about one of the most famous chefs out there? 11. There are a lot of other chefs doing this too, especially on youtube. This is crazy. 12. He was joking clearly the whole time, but if she took offence this one i agree with too. Clearly these will not haunt him forever. Some didn't even count, this was created for Views.

Shawn John The last one was a late night talk show. Those are very rehearsed and scripted. Some of those jokes were bad, but they were all in on it and probably thought it was funny. Other than the Australian news woman one, the rest are barely scandalous. Even the “Ramsay’s shows are staged” one is silly considering all reality tv is to some extent staged.

I think it's funny how they say 500% increase like it's damn able. That would mean a 5x increase, in other words making it 1/5 or 20% of the customer side price. That's a little below average restaurant food cost, but not by much. Most run 25-33%. Seems silly to try to paint it badly.

I'm kinda conflicted on the mansion thing? Like you have the right to build your home however the hell you want, but if you're living somewhere where they have regulations on the exterior (like brick or roof color, or what kind of trees or plants you can have in front of your house) then I could understand why some people might get pissed. But still, if you're rich enough to have a seaside mansion, you're rich enough to plant some tall ass trees so you don't have to see a house you don't like.

You do know that Kitchen Nightmares isn't fake, right? I did my own research and basically the crew invites actual people to eat at the restaurant. They are told to be really honest with how the food tastes. And the rest goes on from there. It's not fake, that's why quite a few restaurants that Gordon has helped, fell back down and closed. Because he couldn't help them in time. They were already very bankrupt. There are however a few that managed to survive to this day. Yes, Kitchen Nightmares is real.

Half of these are people coming into his life with their opinions and turning it into a moral statement. One look at hell's kitchen will tell you that it's not personal when he calls people pudgy, monkey, shit-face, fat, etc. and that Ramsay just loves his physical insults. The Samuelsson one makes no sense whatsoever. There are a million up and coming chefs that get asked these questions, and Ramsay somehow has a problem with this one guy that he's never met who owns a restaurant in NYC, a city that Ramsay has never done business in? It just seems way too erratic to believe if there are no other chefs that have experienced anything similar. The whole Bourdain thing is even more ridiculous if you watch the show. There's a youtube clip of the show where he lassos cacti off a cliff to eat the worms inside. That's nowhere near Bourdain's style of going to night-markets and high-end restaurants.

I LOVE Gordon Ramsay Uncharted and I actually really like Gordon’s personality because I don’t think he is a mean person or desires that anyone actually fail…I think he was raised in a way that I can kind of relate to where you’re not able to really get through to people and make a difference in their life and push them to excellence without being extremely hard and forceful because oftentimes the people who are capable of excellence are also capable of extremely bad behavior and for them to achieve the greatest good it can be a very painful transitional experience - Mr Ramsay understands that from what I know about him - and I often think to myself that I wish I could have someone like him to keep me focused and striving towards being greater because I don’t always respond to people who are gentle and merely suggestive and not able to direct high amounts of energy that can shake me and, while hard and sometimes painful to endure, the harshness of a great talent is I think very important for me to learn faster and quickly become the best I can be, but this can’t be applied to all types of people or all fields of learning. For example, spirituality is usually taught by a mixture of gentle consistency, meekness, humility, and austerity. For something that pertains to making money in this worldly realm and for the material needs of yourself and your own, sometimes it is true that nice guys and girls finish last because people will take you for all that you allow yourself to be taken for. Especially when I understand Mr Ramsay in context, I can appreciate him and I can also appreciate that he makes public mistakes and it’s not as if he is a person who lacks empathy or anything like that - I think he is good at television because he is genuinely a high energy person and takes things very personally…and criticize you may, but don’t stop me from telling you about my capacity to understand what he says and take what does in the best light possible and I think it’s sad when KZfaq clips like this fail to contextualize a person on or off camera as if a personality exists apart from a person who is not acting and criticism is levied at Ramsay’s life and not a particular dramatic performance as in film criticism - I just don’t appreciate that these sort of negative rumors are floated around about people, regardless of how much money or fame they have, because I can’t imagine how anyone can just stand by while their name is dragged through mud. I’m a pretty weak person in general, but I don’t sit quietly if I am accused of things I did not do or when someone seeks to harm me through deception then I try to get ahead of that and in those ways, and many others, I appreciate who Gordon Ramsay is and what he does. Everyone has flaws and makes mistakes, but nobody should be so concerned with trash talking people and judging people, because these videos tend to make us forget how fucking ratchet we are ourselves. Let Gordon do the best he can and resolve with me to start watching videos on KZfaq that remind us why KZfaq is so important…the great archive of concert performances, cooking classes, travel documentaries, biographies, history archives and occasionally the entertainment that you can’t readily watch on television because you, like me, don’t have a television. Honestly, I’m sure I could use a Gordon Ramsay kick the ass to help me help myself more…it’s easier to turn a channel than waste your life complaining as if you really care about the common good so much and are truly as misguided to think that anyone would consider you a decent enough person to say anything about the common good that you should just move on and try to make yourself and your community better…and also the Church needs your focus, because we have a pope (Francis) who is quickly showing us how much he despises the common good and like a true Marxist and a Fascist - a demonic hypocrisy of paradoxes and attempts to destroy the patrimony of Christ and His Church by unlawfully seeking to limit the traditional Mass and trying to ban the traditional Pontifical etc. and washing away Latin so that people will forget the truth and the prayers that make people saints, because tradition has taught us how to glorify God. If you want to care about something…care about throwing out your modernist bishops and this pope who, as has occurred in the past, now demands that we all rise and become a truth teller like St. Athanasius….because the Akita prophecies are now and I can’t understand how so many Catholic people are okay with letting God disappear and making a pope into an idol like the Jews who fashioned a golden calf when Moses was atop Mt. Sinai. Vatican II ushered in confusion and confusion is always of the devil. Let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no: anything else is of the Evil One. I appreciate that Ramsay leaves no room for confusion when he speaks. He is Catholic. I would like to see him call the pope and tell him something about clericalism and hypocrisy, since the pope who says he hates clericalism is more entrenched in clericalism than any pope I can remember and he appoints bishops who are known perverts. Did you read Iota Unum by Romano Amerio? Order Gordon’s cookbook and grab that book along with your next order.

Maybe it’s the Mandela effect, but I definitely remember him apologizing to his wife and kids for cheating.

I mean there is only so much a celebrity chef can do in their career. Traveling different places and trying the cuisine is one of them. And it isn't something only one chef gets to do and no one else, lol.

After watching this video I have lost no respect for Gordon Ramsay in fact he's gained much more respect in the way he's handled these allegations the fact that some of these people are attacking him and the lies that they've made up just embarrassing...

They didnt even mention any of the wierd things hes done w his kids. Like making them sit in coach w wierd excuses, or when he made them live in a lil tiny home remember that? That was shocking.

I think Mr. Ramsey is a jerk. There is no reason for him to treat Sofia like that.
